i think SP kena TP mark until damn chia lat.
i kena caught 2 times in a week. one time bo p plate then 2nd time speeding.
now wait letter go court.
i only run 136kmh in 90kmh limit. scared kantong licence!Anyway, i've already received a registered letter by post from the TP. it's the date and venue of this court case. i'm also informed that i kena 12 demerit pts for this speeding alone.
it stated that i've committed an offence under section 63(4) n punishable under section 131(1)(A) of the road traffic act, chapter 276.
can anyone tell me what this means and good or bad are my chances in this situation. what are the possibilties and what is the worst senerio? how high are my chances of getting my licence kan dong?

for p plate,i think only fine only or warning only,it is only until 3rd time then license kandong,for the speeding part i m not sure,but usaully first time it is not that bad la dun worry it is not like u go 150 or 180 like that maybe can call tp n ask lor no harm wat 5481818

Well you are p plate and kena 136km/h in a 90km/h road.....dat would mean 12 points and a fine.......... but you only got 12 points, plus yr bad record (twice in a week). Hmmm.... i dunnoe correct am i but chances of kantong is high. P plate straight kantong, not suspend, thats the worst part.
Anyway, me also having some traffic offence like you. All the best to you and me as well.

no p plate first time warning only(maybe fine) that is wat my instructor tell me, second time then revoke.actually your offence is the same as beating the red lite,still can ride but make sure u be a gd boy,just make sure u dun commit any offewnce that will cost your points

is there a difference between TP and ROV patrols? one fella told me ROV damn cb, won't give chance one, TP more reasonable. he told me i kena caught by ROV coz the fella is wearing white top n black pants.
he also told me that most likely the ROV will want to inspect my motorbike. is this true?

hey Keratinize its fact that most ppl agree the punishment 4 speeding 40-60km/h is 12pts and $200 fine for light vehicles,u got enough pts so it shouldn't be license kantong and only heavy vehicle like lorry need to attend if kenna 12pts. but i am puzzle y the tp give u court ticket,did they make a mistake?anyway i strongly believe that u won't be kantong but u will hav to live wif 0pts

TP is the most common on the road,of coz they take care of all the big n small things, but i heard ROv mostly focus their attention on "tai lorry", also got one more type, the type who dress like the tp n ride bikes like the tp but their plate also F plate one,those r from cisco but they like to pose alot,also becareful of highway patrol now,their BMW now got no stickers sia except for the door,if the car is following u, it will look like a normal family BMW,almost kanna that day. just becareful of white BMW parking at the side of the expressway.in the mean time i would suggest you call tp n ask about your case, coz the cop could make a mistake.

Atti: you're right. that's exactly wat i found out. so i'll just have to wait for my hearing.
what i'm worried is if my SP is pulled up for ROV inspection, what will they check? if they find anything wrong, what will happen? another fine? this is getting very shitty.
one more question: i always have problems starting my SP in the beginning of the day,
have to pull the choke n all that. must kick 4 or 5 times before the engine can start. is there a problem with my SP or are all of yours the same? my old TZR is able to start with only 1 kick. can anyone tell me where the problem may lies. it's f**king frustrating!
last question: who can recommend the best 2T oil? i'm using Shell vsx (semi-synthetic but it's the best they have) n my engine is not very smooth. i used to use castrol tts but doesn't make a difference with vsx. is the esso fully synthetic good?

Try off ur head light while starting the bike.As 4 2T,Castrol TTS should be good enough.

eh, i just got my class 3 license. just wanna know how easy it is to get license kantong? u mean the most demerit points i can accumulte in 1 go is 12??
so i can drive until i kena something, then stop driving for 1 yr until the points come back?

Actually in S'pore don't try any stupid stunts. Your licence is hard to come by so don't take it for granted.
I'll be going to court soon, in April, si bei worried. I just can't bear the thought of having my licence kantong.

so relax, give it more time and soon you'll love your bike.
by the way, do you know that you have to run in your bike every 500km for at least 3 times. must change engine oil to flush out the metal shavings, caused by your unseasoned piston.
SP is a good bike, take good care of it.
Recommendation: change the tires, maybe to pirelli GTS dragon. the HRC tires sucks and dangerous, you'll buang n buang.

Q.1. roughly how much they cost?
Q.2. do they produce noticeable increase in torque? else i might as well save the $

Well my advise is no point in doing all the mod jobs in yr toyota corolla, dun think it will get you anywhere. Even if theres an increase in performance, think it will be quite insignificant.
