Buying a Used Car In Singapore

  I am relocating from US to Singapore and want to know the different charges that one has to pay for getting a used car. Can I afford to get a used car with about S$25000 ?

  25k can buy a car that's abt 2 yrs left or ard there (abt 1000cc to 1600cc car, from Japan, Korea or Malaysia, most probably).......... but of cos, u will get the parf value back when u scrap the car........
  
  Saw in the paper classified ad some days back that a Daewoo Racer 1.5 (if i remember correctly) only cost abt 18k plus........ with 2 yrs left and a depreciation of 4.5k per yr.........
