Can u guys tell me, what is ur original top speed & rpm for sp?
cos i felt v. strange abt.my bike,it can only run till rpm 9000 plus & top speed 160.
Especially Nick34,can u kindly tell me abt the top speed for FR,FS & FT(original one lah)bike.Mine is ft.Thankz! -
my friend tested his FT 2xxx SP and it can hit 180, everything is stock, but i should say, that fella take damn gd care of his bike

huei mine SP FS 9xxx can hit 190km/h at the RPM of 11k but now ony can hit 170km/h as i mod to pickup ... 160km/h so slow meh ??? or u din ram your bike too much ??? wat your total mileage now ???

It looked like a small box(not cable - like)connect the engine current to piston.This let the piston moves faster.It takes less time to reach top speed.

2nd hand depend where you buy lah, buy from private owner between 7-9k. but usually they want full cash up front, coz you don't find alot of them with instalments left anymore.
if buy from mototiam, chorrrrrrrrr loh. 10k+, interest 10%. expensive ah.
but if you can afford it then i recommend you get it.

somemore if u buy 4k, nxt time wanna sell oso not that siong. assuming u downpayment 1k, loan 3 years at 6%.
4k - 1k = 3k + 6% x 3 = 3720 / 36yrs = $100 per month.
steady one, i everything calculate ok liaoz,
anyway 2nd hand SP is around 4.3k-4.8k. if u can find private owner maybe even cheaper.
of course in the end up to u lah. i got a group of frens (9 to be exact, knn repsol gang ah) riding SP all got 2a liaoz. some are intending to sell their bike already. i can ask for u if u wan.

today he just chut 1 LC kia. bought for $500. although very lok, he is thinking far, suffer now enjoy later.

Got 1 guy give advise on how to maintain ur bike when juz bought....
running in is to keep your RPM below 5000 cos at ard six gear 4800 RPM the speed is 80km/h never exceed this speed and when your mileage rch 800 , 1600 and 2400 go change engine this is beri stardard ... by the time your mileage rch 1500 u can slowly open throttle from 80km/h to 90km/h then to 100km/h ...REMEMBER slowly open throttle as u open throttle one shot to the top speed it siong your engine ... use normal petrol when running in as this smooth your piston faster ... 2T i use TTS which can be brought from Ah Boy and most BP petrol station but any fully synthetic 2T can liao for engine i using MOTUL is a good engine oil ... when your mileage rch 10000 go for a full service ...full service means change engine oil , clean block , wash valve , was curb etc ......

i think the guy typo lah, not change engine, it is change engine oil.
ok 2 stroke bikes require 3 types of oil. 1 is 2T. 1 is 4T/Gear Oil. the last one is petrol (hahaha)
2T:-
it lubes your piston and prevents it from jamming. basically piston jam = $$$. use good 2t, fully synthetic types. semi-syn is ok if you don't chiong that much (that means don't always run here run there all 100++kmh).
4T/Gear Oil:-
in 2 stroke bikes, because only the gear box requires lubrication, some ppl claim that only gear oil shld be used. this isn't very true, but we shall ignore this for the moment.
basically wat it does is lubricate your gears and engine as well as take away heat from there.
there are 3 types of 4t. mineral, semi syn and fully syn.
when you 1st buy a bike, the shop will put mineral oil into your engine. after running 800km, you should change the oil, becoz it is a new bike, it will have collected alot of debris in the oil and will become very thick. thick = bad coz cannot flow very well = cannot perform wat it is meant to do = bad.
continue using mineral oil at this point.
at 1.6k (or 2k, not much diff really), change your oil again. this time, switch to fully synthetic 4t or gear oil.
then u just periodically change your oil from here on. fully syn oils usually last a good 3-5km.
u wan nxt time we come out then i explain the finer details of 2t and 4t to u. can even show u how to change yourself ^_^ (save $$).
