Washing your bike

Hi all,
How you normally wash your bike? Is ordinary/bathing soap safe to wash bike? If not, what kind of soap u use? Or without soap ?
Is it safe to use Kit too often? It really works to make the bike very shiny ... but, is it safe?

soap, in a pail of water and a piece of cloth will do, just wash it like that, try not to use sprays as this will spray dirt into harder to reach places, this is for the external,
for internal, just a damp cloth will do, for grease or coolant residues, maybe just use abit if wd-40 will do, but be careful wif the internal. u dun want water to go inside your spark plug dun u? -
one important thing: always wash your bike with water/soap before applying any polish/wax on the surface.
this will prevent the dirt acting as an abrasive agent when polishing/waxing. -
Is ordinary soap safe? Or there is special soap for washing bike?

I wash my bike once a week with Zaino car wash as my folks uses this product
Save me money.
I wax/polish the bike every 3 months.

i use a soft sponge, and MAMA LEMON with a pail of water, MAMA LEMON good for degreasing oils. If some grease still there, use degreasers, can buy from petrol kiosks, or WD40 oso can. Then after washing, wipe dry and wax, for my chrome parts i polish with Autosol and newspaper~ DAMN chrome~!

hmm... mi riding nsr 150 then the rims alway farking dirty so i wash bike evrytime the rims is dirty ...polish the rims too u noe hahaha abit waste polish but bo pian the 2T from the pipe alway stick onto my rims haizzz

Hey, dun use autosol. needs to polish like fuck then see effect. use mr brasso. more ex but you see effect with one small wipe.
