huh?? simi tokin u?Originally posted by LexZEUS:If your bike is new, then better ask the dealer to check it ... if necessary .. ask the dealer to change the brake with new one .. cos it is haredened already ...
Btw, u use new SP right? mine also SP ... but there's no sound, but the problem is:
1. Need to press the brake quite deep until for my SP to fully stop ... quite scarry u know ... even though to brake at 60km/h ...
2. My SP got no power when starting at 1'st gear... the sound like "tok tok tok" but no power... must wait 1-2 seconds until sound "broom" ... then must change the gear immediately ... you experience the same or not?
rgds,
Alex
I dunno abt motorbike too much ... but reading TA comment about something "hardened" ... then maybe u should tell your dealer ... if still have guarantee, let them check, then if it is not normal, ask them to change to new one ...Originally posted by roger:hi lexzeus
what do you mean when u say the pads have hardened?
Sorry, dunno hokkien ... but let me clarify the 2'nd question ... when in normal gear and want to change gear to 1'st, I must hook the power by accelerate the RPM until 3500-4000 then I release the cluctch, if not ... then my motor sound like "tot tot tooot" like that ... sound like pity like that ... I dunno ... sometime I just hold the acceleration handle (not increase it), take about 3-5 seconds until sound "vroooom", but sometime not "vroooom" instead of "tok tok tok" like don't have power, and then must really accelerate until "vrooom" ... Is that something wrong with adjustment of petrol and air chamber?Originally posted by ^TzM 53^:huh?? simi tokin u?
hi th, i think its the valve tat make yr bike a sudden increase of power when u open throttle till abt 4500-5000rpm.. n oso mayb u gotto adjust yr carburator setting, think mayb too much or less petrol runs in yr carburator...Originally posted by LexZEUS:Sorry, dunno hokkien ... but let me clarify the 2'nd question ... when in normal gear and want to change gear to 1'st, I must hook the power by accelerate the RPM until 3500-4000 then I release the cluctch, if not ... then my motor sound like "tot tot tooot" like that ... sound like pity like that ... it is 1500 already ... and my bike get hot easily ... I dunno ... SP looks got power when it "vroom" ... but before it "vrooom" ... feel very weak ... is this only my feeling or what ... or my bike is not *warm* enough? How long it take to warm up your bike every morning? Mine warm up morning, still feel weak ... then after 20 minutes go to office ..when go home from office ... feel weak again ... should I warm up my bike everytime I want to go?Originally posted by roger:try to increase your idiling speed to about 1500 rpm. it can be adjusted by a screw in the carb. clockwise for increasing and anti clockwise for decreasing
Go other bike shop and ask them wats the problem then go back to the place u bought ur bike and ask them to fix...Originally posted by roger:my front brakes make a squeaking sound when i apply the brakes. the bike is new.
was wondering whether it is normal during the break in period?
LIke nothing wrong mah... two stroke bike must Rev a bit to move off if not the bike will stall...Originally posted by LexZEUS:Sorry, dunno hokkien ... but let me clarify the 2'nd question ... when in normal gear and want to change gear to 1'st, I must hook the power by accelerate the RPM until 3500-4000 then I release the cluctch, if not ... then my motor sound like "tot tot tooot" like that ... sound like pity like that ...
