advice needed on chopper Thanks in advance!

Hi all, need some advice here on chopper(Class2B). Have went around afew shop liao n spot afew chopper. Currently 2 bikes i have in mind : Honda Phantom 200 and Hyosung Aquila 125. Know nothing about bike (newbie), like 2 know which bike is advisable 2 get? Price abt the same 4 1st hand however can't get any lobang 4 2nd hand one. Guess they r 2 new. Hear Honda Phantom 200 is a good bike but me like the outlook of Hyosung Aquila 125 - very modifiyable!!, looks more "chopper-like" .. hee ... please offer ur comment on anything on this 2 bike - particularly on their performance and maintenance .... A zillion thanks 2 all who help! :-)

Never ever buy a korean bike....Take a look at the chrome parts...they cant even afford to use real metal..all are some cheap plastics man!! The parts are not durable at all...very easy spoil one..DAMN DAMN DAMN stupid bike... i seen the aquila many times liao...but i have to aree that it is nice..if you really one to buy a korean bike, there is one model damn stylish one...i cant think of it now but i will post the name again when i remember it is not daystar.Originally posted by slacker1975:Hi all, need some advice here on chopper(Class2B). As for phantom 200, it is actually a great bike for a newbie. But the handle bar is too short. When you hit higher speed, the bike will tremble. Maintenance wise, it is a cheap bike. Somemore is a honda bike..parts will be easily purchased. ME is presently riding phantom 150. If you have anymore question just post it... I will get back as soon as possible. -
i agree with TA 150 comments. the resale value of a honda is higher than a korean brand. moreover the aquilla is not really popular as you seldom see it on the road.
but the final choice is still yours -
how much is a TA150 now? a new one ? Still available?
and how much is a phantom 200 new one?
hmm....heard that TA150's handle bar wont tremble when on high speed, then why 200cc will?

i think phantom will be a good choice......
if u dun want ya handle bars to tremble.....then dun go so fast lor!! haha juz kidding....1 way is to have a full tank....then it will be steady.....if still tremble.....then maybe ya hands r trembling not the handlebar.....

Err...sorry i took so long to reply... As for the pickup of phantom150...It is the fastest among choppers of 2B. But then again....the bike itself is rather heavy though...so it will not be able to really pickup faster than other bike...(Class2a and sportbikes..) even TZR can beat the pickup. But then again...for transportation it will get a 9/10 rating.The handling is terrific. Both the 150 and 200 will tremble at high speed. Looking at 200 again...it is a fourstroke...so top end is not so high..wana know the top speed??? Buy me one and i will tell you everything in detail.

is 150. how fast it can go?? -
