Do u all noe of any that tell about the specification of KRR?is the maintenance of KRR alot more expensive than SP?

never try KRR ... but my NSR is very fast and got power
and... my NSR doesn't smell good ... especially when warm ... the original color so ugly ...
overall of NSR: nice! and I choose because its resale value is higher, and the spare parts are easier to find ... -

hmm ... usually honda resale value won't fall crazy like other japanese brand (suzuki, yamaha & kawasaki)... cars oso like tat ... -

I buy NSR for the dealer say:
1. the spare part are not expensive, and easy to get
2. the price is reduced a lot since the first existance in SG... this is due to Thailand currency is not stable compare to TZM which is ringgit (m'sia). So, actually ... the original price of NSR SP is about the same with TZM ...
3. The skeleton is using FRAME, KRR skeleton is using tube.. so somewhat, NSR is more durable ...
4. appearance wise, NSR looks nicer (the color is ugly though ...), but nbrmind... can respray ... I oso want to respray soon
5. I don't really bother about *speed* cos I am not racer ...

if u wan pick up fast..go for scram...u wan speed go for sports bike....but y u wanna knoe the 0-100 how much?? coz i think in sg even if ur acc is fast u will still kenna stop by traffic light one ma..den muz e brake hehe and so fast for wat?? no offence eh ;P -
but i'll recomand u the krr la...power and speed wise its good parts go malaysia can find one but the only think is the tyres very thin leh hehe

no lah .. the NSR SP is from thailand (assembly), the TZM from m'sia (assembly)... that was what the dealer said ... dunno from where the spare part, but main engine are from Japan, but modification spare parts are from the local assembler (such as fairing, shock breaker, etc)... but they said that soon Honda won't produce 2-strokes below 200cc anymore, so this will be my last chance to own Honda with 150-2strokes...Originally posted by ^TzM 53^:err...tzm is from thailand...no?

i have tried a sp before and i am riding a krr now. here are some of my opinions.
on questions regarding the frame, u will not feel the frame difference when riding either bikes. the krr frame is composed of tubes and the sp one is of a twin spar aluminium type. it makes no difference whatsoever to top speed or cornering abilities.
on the fairing issue, the krr fairing does not fully cover the engine and therefore makes servicing less of a hassale. the sp fairing covers almost the entire engine and
can make degreasing the engine a headache. therefore the sp's engine tend to get dirtier easily.
as for the finishing, the sp's decals are not long lasting and tend to peel off if rider, pillion or luggage accidentally scuff against it. when ridden often in bad weather, i doubt the SP stickers will last long.
the krr (green or silver version) have less stickers and does not face this problem.
performance wise, its more or less the same. i can say that the sp does not have problems keeping up with the krr.
your question on the 0-100km/h is highly irrelevant in singapore. even if the bike take 3 seconds to reach 100, is it of any use to you? i doubt u can use this acceleration in singapore.
