tinted visor is fine $50..wif no demerit pt..mi kena 2 times b4..damm it...hehe..u r no allow to wear bcos its dangerous at nite as u cant c properly so tps catch quite stricly..sunglasses too at nite cant wear but duno day time can wear anot..think can lah..

I think the reason for banning tinted visors is to prevent helmets from being used as accessories to rob banks
Notice that banks have the sign "No helmets" in their branches?

recently went down ah boy, his bro tell me now visor catch $70, not worth to buy tinted visor liao. shui shui that day alot of ppl come down buy clear visor.
anyway if u wanna buy tinted visor, at least get those got mia one like arai shoei, of course wanna use their visor must use their helmet oso. where got ppl buy chopsticks but use 1 stick only?
coz i try my frens' arai helmets the black visors frm inside see damn clear ah, somemore is nite time period. but there's a slight tint lah.

u cannot wear helmet or shades in the bank AT ALL!!! juz for ur info, with or without visors, tinted or clear still cannot ok
anyway, abt the visors, usage of tinted visors is banned for riders, its fine for pillions... its becoz, it hinders visuallity at night(as we all noe). sunglasses is perfectly fine coz pple use it as and when they need it; unlike the tinted visors

last time i ride bike always listen to MD one. now dun liao, becoz the controller and wires anyhow fly about ah, dunno why last time won't one leh.
i think is the different sitting position
but tio road block b4, those NPP types and they told me better not to wear while riding, coz dangerous n reckless ah. but nvr say legal or not.

err... ok ...for visors rite...chrome and ultra black is $70. colour and smokey black is 50bucks... it is legal to wear sunglasses in the day.if not y tp wear them ?
helmet straps rite...wad i heard is 120+3points same goes for shorts....slippers~~

btw, thanx snowball72 for the new info.. me didnt know that pillion also cannot at 1st. btw, the strap thing, must secure it properly.. cannot juz use the velcro strap. hey, abt the slippers, jialat sia.. me always ride with sandals, u think can or not? but so far i havent kena caught... now must start to change riding habits already

yesterday i going home that time during heavy traffic, i using no PSB sticker THH helmet + wearing sandals + cutting traffic.
he nvr stop me leh :p
but later in front see him stop 1 kips hahahha -
some how i feel 2B bikes r more "marked"
they dun really care about the slippers or no PSB, only shorts, my friends wear slippers 90 percent of the time, and all nova helmet, went thru countless rd blocks but nothing happen.. -
yah true, abt the 'marked' bikes... when i used to ride hexagon with slippers and unsecured helmet at road block, TP juz let me off but they stop those racers.. now i riding NSR150SP, everytime i kena stop for spot-checks but lucky they never say anything abt the slippers coz me always with my gf. then my police fren say if u with gf they usually dun make u paisei infront of them
the main idea is that they always choose to stop youngsters on racers :p.. u got 2A bikes, they 'usually' dun stop u unless u got offence

hey last time me and a fren riding hor, he use Arai full face with tinted visor, and i used ah boy nova tinted visor. Both of us kenna stopped, but only i kenna.... chao cheebye... issit becoz original accesories approved? And Ah boy chiong not approve?? This is unfair man. theres one more thing i dun understand, look, TP r using nolan helmets rite, but then how come some nolan helmets no approve one? saw a full face one at HMV

1. break my visor n let me go
OR
2.pay $50 n keep my visor.

no la, break your visor, u think ah beng ar?
this happens usually TO MY EXPERINCE, yours may vary though
if just slighly tinted, most likely they will just warn u only
if super dark until cannot see gace at all, ask u sign a form... a slip wil b mail to yr house, but u keep the visor though..
if bery bery rare, like silver tinted and if too cheng or wad, they will confiscate..nad then fine
no la where got such thing as to break your visor this type of thing, if i put arrow pipe how, break the pipe or pay the fine is it? -
that time my fren slight tint only, on the spoil issue the summon. but keep the visor.
and hor, is not that some nolan helmets not approved or what, but that they never send for batch testing.
that's why you see alot of branded helmets oso dun have the psb sticker. no point sending for batch test, got they're already recognized internationally.
