does anyone ride a Gilera Runner here?

  hi, i really know nuts about bikes..hope i can gather some opinions about Gilera Runner here..the price and whether it is worth buying? Thanx!

  Dun buy Runner now lah. althought its quite a big skipper, but the wheels a bit small. quite dangerous during cornering.
  
  i recommend you Gilera DNA. Also got 180cc one. Auto Gear bike too. but looks very sporty. Naked Road Bike with auto gearing like skipper. its a chassic beauty.

  skippers r usually prolematic coz it is running on belt instead of chain and also, it is just one gear, die die also keep rammin that, whereas other bikes got 5,6 gear, thus the wear n tear is distributed and that each gear has its own speed ...

  this bike donno servicing need to go agent anot. Coz i saw this Gilierra at AH Boy workshop park very long, maybe no spare parts for it, must get originals one, very troublesome...

  the runner 180 is a good bike. it accelerates smoothly and brakes better than a skipper. there will not be any belt problems if you do not accelerate like crazy when the lights turn green.
  
  open the throttle slowly and accelerate moderately.
  
  the finish of the bike is not very good. after some time. the stickers will peel off easily. the exhaust will also rust easily.
  
  pros
  -dammn good acceleration and braking
  -cool looking
  
  cons
  -poor finish
  -small wheels

  it will be in the 6k+ region for a new one.
  
  there are many used ones around, some of them are cheap.
  
  keep looking around.

  for that bike...the pick up is much faster thn normal skippers...really fantastic
