  the most u can claim is 80% of the current market value of yur bike loh.
  ay just to let u know yur chia pai is in there leh, wanna delete up tou lah.
  
  anyway yur premium is $1243 per year.
  your excess is $250.
  
  as for your $897 rebate... i not sure if it means it is the rebate you are given meaning you pay $1243 - $897 = $346, or does it mean it is what you pay AFTER all the discounts.
  most likely is the latter.
  that means your yearly premium is $897 after discounts and loyalty.
  best is ask NTUC to find out.

  My take on this is that the total premium is actually S$1243 but you will only pay S$897 (70% of 1243 is 870. Not sure why there is 27 dollars more).
  
  Your excess is S$250. This means that if any repairs have to be carried out on your bike, if the amount is >S$250, the cost will be borne by NTUC fully. However, this would mean that your insurance premium would increase for the next year (ie >S$897). So there is a trade-off if your excess is evoked.
