Newbie qn: COI & transfer fees...

  sorry ah, me very new. any help and comments very welcomed!
  
  got few questions all about buying second hand bike. the bike got COI. what should i do?
  
  pay COI in full, got rebate or not? got how much rebate?
  
  if still wanna COI, then how to transfer?
  
  also very importantly, what kind of tranfer fees (how much???) are there? i know got the LTA transfer fee about $80 for the bike i wanna get.
  
  insurance/road tax etc got fee or not ah?

  if u pay the instlaments one shot, u will be spared from the yearly interest of the loan..
  
  arrangements will be done by the shop,all u need to is to PAY..
  
  ok, here is the hard part,
  
  for insurance, if u r continuing his instalments, most likely the shop would get u got to take 1st party, which is damn expensive rite now, other than the insurance, still got the agreement fees,
  
  ASK ur shop about all these, get him to write everything down in paper, then u post it here, pple here will tell u whether it is ok or not

  calling bike shop to enquire now. they giving me difficult time now! insurance transfer fee, log card transfer fee, agreement fee, service fee... bloody h*ll!!!

  wha lan, not normal leh, normally, the market rate for these tyoe of fees should be around 150..
