Yup , it is like kind of difficult to arrange so many viewings and contact so many different owners to find a reasonable 2nd hand bike. Why don't all of us arrange to meet - both sellers and buyers say at a convenient place. So all of us know where to go ?
Then buyers can sieve thru several offers at a go
And sellers get to sell theirs at the highest price.
I suggest the street market just opposite Kelantan Street / or Lim Ah Boy
Or at NUS since it is having vacation now. The road outside Prince George's Park beside National University Hospital will be a good place for bikers to meet and exchange .
Can some Lao Jiao moot this and organise such a big jumbo sale ? -
hmm...i find this idea very good. But...its not really ez to do that....i mean not every seller and buyer is free on sun and if first response is not good, the following response will get worse. And the whole thing will just flop.
And maybe its just me, but i think that as u have said that, for the seller, its good becoz they get to listen to the highest bid, ppl who go there are mostly "bike" ppl, and know roughly how much the bike is worth, so I dun really think the price will stretch til too low/high. And i still think that individual selling/buying would be a much convienient choice.
But hey, just my 4cents worth. So dun really take it too seriously, besides, i'm inexperienced. So now talking crap.

that's why we need some lao jiao pple to pull this tog.
Someone like Nick34 or TZM^53 who can organise outings and also org such monthly meet tog.
And maybe we can call this place a biker's hangout.
Actually,
the road beside Prince George's Park is really ideal- turn from NUH up to South Buona Vista Road then turn right.
Long stretch of straight road.
Also can race around South bourna vista road , or try out the bike.
On sun , the place is almost deserted
In that way , we don't have to organise outings so often, whoever feels like it just meet there on a particularly sunday

Please do tell me what you think of the 1982 RXK 135 Black Yamaha with COE until Feb 2007 at $600 with insurance and road tax till Jan 2002. Comes with box but owner wants to keep the no plate AZ7788.
Are RXZ parts available in JB, can they be easily maintained at workshops in Singapore or do i have difficulty finding parts. Does it consume alot of petrol or is it low maintenance and low cost and reliable like the RXZ ??
Is insurance sky high since it is such a old bike?--
What about the Hexagon? Any comments on the scooter?
The scooter above seems pretty cheap. But i do understand that
scooters are cheaper to maintain and their resale value are lower.
My position now
I have reconsidered my position.
Don't think i have time to take my Class 2A/2
So i want a form of transport that is low maintenance and cheap .
Doen't matter if it makes me lose my biking skill.
Need to last preferably 3-5 years
Still looking for a cheap RXZ or TZR as well
