Realise almost 99% of the topics here are related to motor bikes
So was thinking of starting a new topic on motor cars. Wish I can join you guys in the discussion on motor bikes but sad to say i know nothing abt them.
Was wondering if there's any forumities ard who own cars? Which brand, what model, which yr etc. ect.? Care to share, and maybe can tell us more abt yr cars so that we have a better understanding of the cars ard us, like their characteristics, pros and cons ........ or maybe, any other experience like what other accessories u use for yr cars, are they good or lousy.
Basically any things abt yr car any1 for a start?

Are u interested in underground racing??? Was driving Subaru WRX Domestic for a short period of time....Interested in that car???....POWER......

haha i wanna tok about cars i oso dunno anything much about them
but i must say that, RX7 and SX200 are damn chio cars, if i ever buy a car (haha ya rite) i'll buy either one of those.

i use to drive too, but cars not as fancy as what wolf use to drive... u know the cheapo suzuki GL? yep, ugly, no power, but cheap lah.
after several years of driving, feel that not worth the cost lor, the $$$ can be better spent elsewhere. Unless you are quite well off with no family commitments, or if its a family car with more than 1 person using the car, then ok lor.
For me, only my wife and me, then I'm the only one driving, then do shift work, long hours car at carpark... what a waste....
after i sell car, estimate every year save at least $12k lor, excluding petrol. 1st thing I did was went for a self-drive holiday to NZ/Aus, go bungee lah, sky-dive lah... wah.... $$$ well spent!
sorli ar, don't mean to pour cold water lah, just saying what i feel. I like cars too, maybe in 2 yrs time, my father retire, we move in together, then I get a car lor. -
yeah man, i agree. car = rich man's toy.
unless i have a family, i see no need in getting a car. too expensive to consider
just imagine, you morning go work, traffic jam. you evening go home, traffic jam. buei sian ah?
spend 100+k buy a car, i rather use to buy house or buy bikeS.

I still prefer driving when possible. Safer and more comfortable. I will definitely drive if I go out at night as statistically, more bike accidents occur at night and early morning.
However, cars are really $$$ in Singapore with depreciation of a few thousand dollars a year. But if you have a family, it is better to have a car to do grocery shopping, chauffeuring one's kids etc.
Don't own a car at the moment, but I have access to my parents' cars. Lucky in that sense I guess. -

Drove a few civic b4 .......a 93vti (1.6 manual), a 96sir(1.6 auto), a 2001vti(1.5 auto) ...........

Hello Ah Tee, I did not actually disappear lar, i mean i still do frequent this Race Track forum on and off, just that haven't been posting msgs cos, like i mention, most are riders here..... and i know nothing abt bikes. Errrmmm so kinda out of place, and haven't been posting for some time here........
I still remember the 1st post i ever post here in sgforums is the "motoring" ....... last march i think. That time Race Track forum was not ard yet, and guess the administrator create it since then.......
Will try to make more contribution here..... though i must admit i still got a lot to learn abt motoring stuffs........ once again, nice of u to remember me, i even saw yr u post the same qns of why i disappear at Aunt Agony

so how is the performance of the suzuki Gti? Heard its quite good, never had the chance to drive one though......
Subaru WRX, ha.... its every boy racer dream but not everyone can afford that i guess, esp not our age......
and as for underground racing..... hmmmm...... i dun have a powerful car to do that, though i wish i could........

well yah the new honda integra is ice cool........ and it actually cost abt $140,000 including COE. Quite a good buy for now, if one could afford the money.......
As for the Skyline, Nissan stopped importing in the car already ( unless go for direct parrarel import) cos it failed the air emission safety feature.........

No lar, i don't own a civic, can't possibly afford that........
I am currently driving a 2nd hand Nissan March, the uplift version...... that's the max i can afford at this situation
Lukcy so far so good, haven't gave me major problems yet....... thanks goodness.

pls dun feel out of place, we do have drivers here, but really dunno when they come or dun come,
most of us here r bikers, but dosent mean we dun welcome drivers rite?
i still remember the time when u lead keratinize thru the whole thing, n i must say he is lucky to have ur advice, everybody is still learning, there r new things to b discovered, new knowldege to acquired,
anyway, me myself have been noticing alot of celicas on the rd this past wk, i already saw ard 4-5 in a wk, i wonder why, another firend notice the same thing..
