And then you advised me on checking radiator water, do you just use tap water. S/o told me that the minerals attack the inner surfaces. -
Erm for the castrol i dono Caltex have anot, u free can go see see lor, but Esso don have. Engine oil i use GRO Rockoil, its a good oil, $18/bottle. Abt the radiator, our old bikes use plain water can tahan for awhile lor, but not as good as coolent fluid. If can u go buy those concentrate Coolent from shell or what lor. Will lower your temp faster than plain water.

Actually the kind of coolant used by the bikes raced in MotoGP or SBK is just plain distilled water. No antifreeze/coolant additive is used at all. Coolant spilled on tracks are just as slippery as an oil spill so its banned at most tracks. Professionals agree that just plain distilled/de-ionised water is good enough for use in weather that don't see ice/snow forming. Coolant additives are used for the purpose of making sure ur coolant don't freeze up in winter. Plus certain types of coolant do hv a lubricating effect on moving places.
If u hv a aluminium engine block in ur bike, look for coolants that state they're "alloy/aluminium friendly". Moreover, it is true that tap water contains large amounts of minerals that will cling onto parts of ur cooling system & will lower or damage their cooling capability. De-scaling or flushing ur system would then be neccessary. Do take note. Use only distilled/de-ionised water when refilling or topping ur ur radiator fluid levels. As far as I know, this is insisted in both Honda & Yamaha servicing manuals.
