Draw out majority of your petrol. Cover your bike with a waterproof bike cover and lastly, try to get someone to warm up your bike for about fifteen minutes every 2-3 days.Originally posted by likeriding:Going for holiday and leaving my new phantom 200(mileage 2000+ km) at home for one month. this one i read from book one k...should fill up your tank to full to avoid rusting in the tank then no need to buy the anti-rust thing liao...then hor battery should take out but for one month i think no need unless in cold weather or leaving it for more than one month. then make sure your bike is dry before covering up or else wait corrodeOriginally posted by likeriding:Going for holiday and leaving my new phantom 200(mileage 2000+ km) at home for one month. yah...then lan lan waste petrol+ rust in tank==song ah...lolzOriginally posted by kof-guy:if u fill up the tank, when u come back the petrol can all take n throw liao.
becoz
1) become stale, cannot combust liao.
2) all the dirt n stuff accumulate at the bottom of the tank, tio clog liao.
3) water condensation = rust in tank = song ah

You think they really so gd meh? They might help you shelter your bike. But then they will not start your bike every morning. Why dun we set up a bike hostel? Meant for bikers that are leaving abroad for a period of time and take care of them as well??Originally posted by toons9:bring to motordiam tell them u park wif them for 1 mth....u pay them some $$$ lor....ask them everyday help to warm ya bike lor since they need to move the bike in and out of the shop to display everyday....

hi David how do you disconnect?Originally posted by david1881:You must disconnect the battery or you will be left with a flat battery.
I was overseas for 3 months and the battery was dead when I return, beyond recharge. I disconnected it during my second trip for 3 month, no problem!
