Hmmmph ,
it is not the company , it is the agent,
every agent will be nice to you in the first few years cos they get huge commisions from you. After that they bo chap you.
So best is get a relative or close friend who is an agent, next best is get a guy who is committed to the profession. Worse thing is you buy insurance from a part-timer/house-wife and she quits halfway , the company just allots you to someone you don't know!
Motor insurance- Ease of claiming ( at least for cars) best is NTUC , worst is DBS ICS .
The other big ones like Prudential , GE, AIA are all good bets and they have good S&P ratings-stipulating good financial status
As far as i know ALL whole-life insurance and ILPs do not cover motorcycles. You need to buy PA and they have to cover motorcycles.
If you intend to cover up to $1000,000, you just need to pay up more premium. $11 for $25,000.
And btw , the premium also depends on class of occupation,if you are a office worker you are class 1 and if you are a construction worker you are class 4 , the premium increases. The good thing is they don't care whether you motorbike or not , just your class of occupation
