dirty plug?

  my bike, these few days when stopped at traffic light, the engine will died. It usually happens when i was at first gear (but holding down the clutch). Is this due to dirty plug? or what?

  It could be due to your low idling point....
  What bike you riding?
  The rpm of ur piston too slow....

  Agree to vspec... should be idling too low...

  what's idling point? how do i go about correcting it?

  Aiya just clutch in n keep on "ZUA" the trottle when u stop loh.HAHA...Thats what i do to my problematic fucked up army bikes during NS.

  idling pt aka timing, the rpm when ur bike is idle.
  go motorshop ask them adjust for u lor. den ask them where is the knob to adjust the timing, den next time if like tat..can do it urself. maybe it's ur carb got prob also...which will make the bike without timing even if adjust one whole day. just go check it out.
  open ur throttle alittttttttttttttttle bit lor...when u stop. to maintain the rpm so that the engine wun die.

  turn the fuel screw clockwise to increase the idiling speed. do not touch the air screw.

  I think dun have to go down to motordiam. Juz ask your bike frens to show you where the knob is... easier this way.

  Only recently isit??
  
  Increasing the idling may help but it doesn't really solve. If you increase idling, your bike will vibrate more at higher rpm.
  
  Try cleaning the carb or filter...

  hi guys thanks for all your advices...really nice of you all. i realise it might be becoz it's when i just started the bike, the engine is still somehow 'cool'. coz when i leave the engine on idling for a while before i clutch in first gear, or ride it for a stretch of road without stopping, this problem is no longer there.
  This is normal rite?
  
  haha, guess it must take quite a while for me to get used to this bike. yup, i just start riding for a week +

  ya man, my TW already quite loud at high rpm, imagine it vibrate somemore.....
