currently havint a PES E9 medical status.

okok the help i gonna need here is the other forumers advice.
im PES E becoz of my eye problem.
one of it cannot focus properly, so cannot aim lah. sum more its my master eye lor.
budden the whole big FUC*ing Taxi can see and still can curse and swear at it lah.
thats y still can ride on the road lor.
so, theres nothing wrong with me physically.
no broken limbs, no heart problem and im not going to die even if i have to go thru Pes A BMT lor.
juz met up with an old fren also in PES E wan lor.
he say whole day damn Lobo. morning go slack, afternoon got paperwork do then do, nothing to do watch TV. late afternoon go play soccer with the storeman.
anyway he told me if wanna upgrade oso can lor. must the MO approve can liao.
budden go back all the way to tekong and do BMT lah.
got 2 choices now.
one. SAF, serve and fuck off. thats wad most of my frens serving ns now told me.
rather do nothing for 2 years than to do something. it all end up the same anyway.
u commando so what.
two. u only serve NS once. might as well make full use of it. other ppl come out be guardsman, me leh. a clerk.
im not afraid of NS lor. i oso dun wan this pes status lor. juz that ppl wan oso dun haf ah.
whaddya guys think ?

i think... if u dun want to stay as a clerk, then go for it lor... the most, if u dun like the life inside, then lobo after the 3 months lor... who knows u like it inside, and u decide to chiong sua chiong hai...
then if u realli like, scari sign on, still got almost $2k a month.... haha.. then can mod bike mod till siao...

Look dude~ even if u pes A or pes E, ur role that u play is an important one. bcos even the storeman is important for everything to work smoothly. everyone is important. if no clerk, who going to settle all the admin paperwork? not easy leh~.
i wun say serve and FO, i'd prefer to treat it as doing your part to make the whole engine of the SAF run smoothly, no matter how simple your role. Every little screw on your bike is there for a reason ain?

Vocations in the ARMY that allows u to b in a MOTORCYCLE environment:BRC,Scouts(actually both quite similar),Signaller(Bike Rebro),MP(Rides Class 2 bike but still put P plate!!!)
1.BRC=Almost definately have to ride bike
for every exericise.The old Army scrambler(Honda XL185)like fuck!!!Most more than 15yrs old.Most likely will start to wobble if going more than 80km/h.Can dun bother to signal cos most not working.Kick start until yur face turn green/black so can dun bother to camo ur face.But now SAF got new bike(Yamaha 200cc model i forgot liao)All fucking new(less than 6mth old) Got electric start n kick start so sure use electric start.Quite chio also.
2.Scouts(Bikee) n Signal(Bike Rebro)= Same as no.1
3.MP(Bike patrol)=Most shiok one. LOBO JOB.Rides class 2 bike(Honda750cc)even though may not have even 1yr of riding experience.Go around catching SAF vehicles that broke safety/traffic rules.Just like TP.
Only drawback is the MP bike course sure always kena "tekan"eg.push a 750cc bike around circuit,do stupid things etc... -

I ORD 5 yrs ago liao so now I can act lao jiao a bit to pass on my experience. I also think during the time i am in the army that the whole NS thing is damn wayang. But at this turbulent time when the world is so chaotic and anything can happen, I can start to feel the importance of National Service. You never know when Singapore may become another Israel or Kuwait. This is very real. The skills that you acquire be it as a commando like feng123 (salute!) or an armoured tank commander like myself will come into critical use should circumstances require. However, it doesn't mean you have to be in a damn siong type of vocation in order to contribute. Every head counts no matter if you are a cook, clerk, driver, commander, guards or tankee. It is the ability to work together with your fellow friends and feeling proud of every contribution that you can make that counts. Take every thing that come along like a man should. Don't try to chao geng, wayang and don't be very very on the ball, xiao onz or hero also. Just make as many friends as possible and make as less enemy. Be as likeable as possible. Then when the time come when you ORD, you will start to feel you are missing something. That I feel is how things should be. Dom, don't need to worry so much one, juz be proud and happily serve.

Actually, you can't really choose where you will end up during NS. Except if you sign on, then you can choose.
What I think is....If you are the chiong type, then go for the best you can...whatever the vocation it is. Chiong sua is confirm siong, but if you put a positive attitude in it, then it'll be bearable.
But if you are the siam-slacker type, then you better be super low profile and slack the moment you enter camp the first day.
I feel you should go all out. No need to sign on. Unless you really thinking of making army as a career, dun think about it. Life's gonna be tough, definitely. But in the end, you become a better man out of the experiences you have in the army.
I never regretted what I did in the army. Though it was siong, but there were fun times, when everyone suffered together. It was a good learning and moulding ground. Turns a boy to a MAN.
I had thought of signing on in guards b4, when I was in BMT. But come to think of it, once I sign, I'll confirm stay for life since when run out of contract, I would be rather old oredi. How to compete with young grads outside?
In the end, I feel good when I know that I chiong instead of being a clerk or something.

But you can try for an upgrade, I'm sure the MO will be more than happy to upgrade you if he can.
No harm trying. If you don't get the upgrade, then you'll be deskbound for sure. May not not a totally bad thing. Well, make it worthwhile wherever you land on. -

you really learn a lot of things when you serve.. that is, undergo training and all that. matures a boy into a man, and you learn about yourself also. makes you appreciate your family more and not to take things for granted.
not sure if you'd consider this an advantage, but staying as pes E means you may be exempted from National Service (reservist). after ORD, you'll be on a holding list for 5 years, then after that, they don't touch you anymore.
i'd say try for the upgrade. it's worth the sweat...
but with all that said, let the MO check your eye first.. "lazy eye" right?

guys tell u all a joke, my friends who got gf used to suan siao those single ones that when they go army can give their bike key to their gf cozcan heat engine for them, until one one day one of the guys who r single shot them back, n say imagine u r in the army chiong sua chiong hai, n then ur Gf met another guy, so imagine ur gf betray u n give ur bike key to the guy n then he lompang ur gf out, so imagine if the gal u love is on ur bike and the rider is someone else, wad will u do? -

What inside xiong, not just only the exercise lor, but also pressure the officers and sergeants give u lor.
Imagine, u work inside, is not alone thing leh, is a platoon thing leh, u wanna do something right, the whole platoon must do it right also, one fucker saboh, thats it, u get the pressure...
U wanna chiong, i nothing to say lah, but one thing is, u never chiong with them b4, u dono whats the feeling like lor...
*as a guardsman* imagine u dig trench, dig until mm jia lan, then u must stay inside 3 fucking days, shit and eat inside, sway kenna tekan, do pumping inside the trench..
All these are just small pressures. Still got loads of it lor..
I tell u what lah, in NS, is really SAF = Serve And Fuckoff one... u wanna train, outside u cannot train urself meh? U wan i meet u up we go training every sat.
In your case, u are comfirm getting an 8-5 job liao, what u can use during these 2 years is, take up courses and achieve some cert etc during these time, this is what i mean by "making use" of your time...
Yah, Pes E people, MOST XIONG activity is... walking to cook house... rest of the time is LOBO, eat, sleep...
My officer he also just sign on as guards, but, his body figure is really V SHAPE + Bruce Lee figure lor, damn fit one.. He can take it, and he has got rank...
