Hi To All Guys...
Me planning to get either an sp or a rxz...
So far,sp is the bike i wanted cos it look like a bike for the young ...but think in term of money,i think rxz is more economical loh...
any way just want to know what are the spolit parts/the problem of sp u guys have change/encounter so far....thanks!!

Can u guys help me to compare some of the factors between the sp and rxz...
1.is sp insurance higher than rxz..by how much?how about things like rd tax and hdb parking and scrap value?
2.petrol wise,how far can u go with $10 on sp and on rxz?
3.does rxz need 2T?any 2b bike no need 2T?
4.if repair is needed, go jb..rxz repair is cheaper than sp..right?lets say the fault is the same cos i hear rxz parts more easy and cheaper to get in malaysia...
5.For rear brake,disc or drum better?cos sp is disc and rxz is drum...
6.Heard rxz is a very problem free bike with high resale value..is that true?if no,what are the bad points of rxz?
any one here intend to let go his rxz/sp for coi pls let me know...

Based on my experience...
RXZ can travel 27-28 kms per litre of petrol.
SP varies between 20 to slightly more than 25 kms per litre of petrol, depends on your riding style.3.does rxz need 2T?any 2b bike no need 2T?
Of course, RXZ is a 2-stroke bike. All 2-strokers need 2T. All 4-strokers don't need 2T, and there's quite a lot of 2B 4-strokers in the market, like Phantom 200.5.For rear brake,disc or drum better?cos sp is disc and rxz is drum...
Theoritically, disc is better than drum. All sport bikes nowadays use disc rear brake. But my SP's rear brake is a bit lousy

1:sp-what me frends told me is not a problementic bike most of me frends dont have any major problem wif the bike maybe after few months need to change spark plug or other minor things that dont cost so much.

THis one u have to decide for urself cos is ur hard earn money or ur parents hard earn money so dont rush into in think twice maybe more before buying a bike cos is not everyday u buy a bike

If looks of the bike doesn't matter for you, go for rxz... Itz a good bike, high resale value, parts are easy to get, a lot of things can mod... rxz can mod until win sp(this is wat i heard from friends)...
But if looks matter... GET A SP... -

No such thing as a perfect bike lor...
especially if u going for 2nd hand bikes...mostly by luck one...some will give u problems, if u lucky then lesser problems...but get RXZ better becus if u mod until win SP u more shiok keke -
actually if u r looking for economical n proven.....SP lor....
juz imagine the SP as nokia fones...its so common coz it's proven as stylish n user-friendly. of coz there r other fones which r not too bad in itself but still loses out to nokia in terms of popularity..
tat is wat i tink of the sp lor, as good as nokia 8250 hehe -
Hi... I'm a SP rider.
a friend of mine once told me:
all those SP riders she knows are either dead, buang until damn jialat or license kantong.
sadly to say i fail to prove her wrong because right now my right arm is in a cast. damn bad fracture. anyway i'm used to it since this is already my 4th fracture since i started riding. believe me, it's not my riding because there are pple who seen me ride n they'll swear by their lives that i'm a skillful rider, although a little reckless.
by the way, if you get a brand new SP, change the tires. it's a little hard thus making it prone to skidding. try the Pirelli Dragon GT, about $110 for front n $130 for rear. they're softer n provides more grip.
if u're a rich kid go for those dunlop ones, about $300 for each tires. remember to change the rear tire to 130 size.(correct me if i'm wrong, should be the biggest size to fit)
at the end of the day, i will still support SP. it's a helluva bike. athough i'm typing with my left hand now. Geez...

actually last time i ride sp change dunlop tt900 only $2++ for both tyres leh...
and also i think change rear to 130 u also cannot use finish sia...no offense hor ,for me low profile tyres works...for cornering also stable
