Choice of petrol

  Hi fellow bikers, jus wanna find out wat type of petrol u all use..
  any good or comments about all the brands available.
  I have tried V power, but its about the same as 8000 leh. i even feel that my pickup abit slower leh..

  go Johore and pump.
  
  the price is at least half of that in S'pore.
  a full tank in s'pore cost about S$12-13 (V Power) but in Johore is about RM14-15 which is about S$7 (also V Power) can pump until overflow also no heartache. with that amount of petrol, my SP can travel a distance of 230km at least. sometimes can reach 240km even.
  
  rumour has it that M'sia petrol is dirty, but how dirty it can get anyway? besides the whole of M'sia is using the same petrol and no one is complaining. if you service ur bike regularly (once or twice a year) u won't have any problems.
  
  and besides, there's no 3/4 tank rule for bikes. i always enter M'sia on my reserve tank. dry like mad then go in and pump like mad.
  
  I've been using V Power for the last 5 or 6 months already. it's been in the M'sia market for quite some time when S'pore was still on Shell XO. Well, at least it's better than most other petrol. i thought XO was not bad but they decided to change it.
  
  furthermore can buy cigarettes, for those who don't know, it's S$2.50 for a soft pack.

  Erhhmm...is dirty meh? I heard from my uncles they all is that, the oil is not as concentrate as in S'pore. Something like got a mixture of water, so when running, not so smooth lor..
  
  Anyway, my uncles they all drive cars one..any diff?

  yes i heard things like that.
  
  but for ur info, it's not water they mix, just some other solvents that mixes well with the petrol. petrol is less dense than water and this will cause it to float on top. no way there is water in the petrol. it will hung up ur whole engine. if it's anything they mix inside it's most likely to be some kind of solvent.
  
  of course, like i've said, it's only a rumour. no one proven it yet. so relax. the petrol is good.

  actually sometimes u can smell a bit of kerosen smell in their vpower u knoe...
  and i think got a bit the sand coz got once i over pump den spilled some on my tank...after the petrol dried up can c some deposits of small particals in it

  its true msian petrol is dirty...at first i tot Eee mai lah thn i think bike not say ride untill old mah...now my lc oso msian petrol liao....and actually msian petrol more 'corse' power comes better...
  
  but if for my tzm i use use caltex..
  if u wan good quality u try caltex platinum...
  ;p but msian petrol good enuff lor :p

  i never use this caltex platinum before...
  been a Shell patron since i started riding to get those dam Escape points. at least i have a Timex watch in return.

  if u all wanna clear ur dirt in ur tank.i recommand u all a solution at magdaco. the place where silkolene 2T can be found a bottle of solution to clean ur tank call this no.

  I personally only pump Mobil or Esso Petrol, Cos I trust them lor...
  Also near my hse mahz, kekeke...
  
  ANyway, JB go in go out...., like very troublesome..
  Muz bring passport lah, muz fill in "White card" lah..
  Haiz...
  
  Pump in sg can liao loh...

  more kin kui...can feel slightly more power... but comes wif price... ever since i buy my lao pok chia nvr use liao... donno got diff bo...

  got once i ran on sg vpower till main tank dry and went on reserve to the nearest petrol station which was caltex. den i tried the caltex platinum.
  
  it was a big big difference to me... very hard to 'kui', power very slow and hard to climb the rpms, overall lesser power to push my small bike to its top speed also. all these comparison is immediate, difference of abt only 10 mins from each petrol, so i can really feel it.

  Ride phantom pump average petrol can already. not sports bike no need so fast what. some more phantom drink petrol like water.

  dunno, but i do know that v-power really gets consumed very fast. juz now, unexpectedly my fuel ran out lucky thing i reach home liao, tomolo i have to go and pump petrol with my reserves liao

  frd sure bo... i last time everytime use wan leh... if drop in quality oso not untill tt bad wan lah.... i use on my tzm jit tau kin kui leh francis oso use b4 i think ... mayb cannot work on hornet lor...wahaha :p joke kekeke
