  i just bought an old vespa px 200 and i gona make it more vintage...any idea wear to make more vespa friends so they can give me ideas & suggestions??

  The bike itself may be cheap.But to do it up, u've gotta b prepared to invest a substantial sum of money. I myself spent abt 1.5k on my VESPA(exclude COE,Insurance).But all this can be done slowly, step by step. The engine is quite durable so i doubt it will have much of a problem.It is basically quite a maintenance free bike.

  shld i get a vespa? how bout listing the pros and cons? someone thinking of selling it to me abt 700 inclusive of coe for another 10 mor eyears and insurance...

  Seriously spking, a px is really too hard to make it into vintage level..unless u really got the $$ on hand..but PX is best for sport/Racing level cuz it engine shaft is bigger so it easier to modify. From my point of view, if u planning to use it for daily long journey transport, i suggest not getting a scoo..unless as a secnd bike.
  
  I riding a 74 sprint..at first i might get the retro/stylo feeling but after a period, when u see all the bikes overtaking u, u will feel differently.
  
  From my case, i spent total of about $3500 in rebuilt this bike. From a throw-away bike to something that ppl admired. Tat feeling is beyond words description..it really an item for admiring and not comfortable shoe that bring u anywhere...
