wat full face helmet is worth the value buyin? is index helmet good? those helmet not approve wil kena stop by TP and wat is the penalty?

i ever saw a crack nova in front of me, the rider forehead was split open, the cracked visor pierced into his face, his SP..hai
depends wad r ur standards lo, if u r just going for looks, index gd enuff..
but if u wanna add in the safety factor then go for more established brands like arai,AGV, shoei, nolan..
these are all top range n are at least 400 plus n above
for mid range think HJC n OGK gd enuff, most of the has gone thru the SNELL test and r approved lo..this is for HJC mid n high end models, OGK duno much
approved helmets will have a PSB sticker at the back,
most of the time TP wont fuss much abt the darn helmet except the visor, but even if he decide to b boliao then it is 50 bux fine -
dun buy index. u will regret wan.

go motorworld buy HJC. as cheap as ah boy's index and TeeHaHa helmets, but better quality

better dun get index thai only $60.....

These 2 Italian brands, although not very popular in Spore, are actually quite good. Maybe not as good as Shoei or Arai, but some models are worn by MotoGP riders. You can see the replicas at Nolan and AGV websites.
I've owned 3 Nolan helmets so far, becos couldn't afford Shoei or Arai
The 1st one saved my life a couple of times. In an accident, my face hit the side door of a van, got a nosebleed from the impact. Then at home, when I examined my helmet, I realized that there was a long stretch of car paint on my visor, and it didn't even crack! Phew... had I worn a cheap cheap helmet, my nose would have been flattened liao...
Bought my last one, Nolan N81, at Looi's for $220. Dunno whether it's too expensive or not. They don't have many models there.
Then found out that the authorized dealer in Spore is Chong Aik (Onan Road). They should have more selections, and some models should cost you less than $200.

there is a saying that says that "if you have an expensive head, get an expansive helmet. if your head is the cheap type, a $50 helmet will do.
after spending so much on a bike, another hundred dollars or so would not make a great difference. -
I agree with roger. Many people spend more on modifying their bikes aesthetics and improve performance but ignore the importance of proper riding gear like a good helmet and gloves. Jackets should be worn when riding but the weather here is just too hot to warrant wearing a leather or even a textile one.
The adage that one should dress for the fall instead of the ride makes a lot of sense. -

Two wheelers magazine is the distributor of this jacket in Spore, dunno if there's any other distributor or not. But the jacket is expensive, $600++ after discount. -

the zf-7 is going to 100 plus, but not approved, no snell est
for lt-20 it is 200 plus, approved,snell tested
for ac-10 is 300 plus, same as lt-20 but have more features..
er,n they also have a nice AGV going for 300 bucks, but it is ROSSI edition, tat is if u dare to buy n wear it -

zf-7 = $100-130.
but i don't think they have sizes for M or S anymore, only L and XL. >_<
lt-20 = $250.
M size only got limited designs.
ac-10 = $350.
not sure about sizes.
shark helmets are going for between $250-$580 depending on which design (not model) you buy.
contrary to belief, yes you can actually bargain with them over the prices.

during the day, it can be really uncomfortable. currently are there any comfortable jackets that protect as well as cool the body? -

generally speaking.. among the mid range priced helmets, I stil support HJC. Though designs not much.. but not dat bad lor.. but one thing though. The air vent not dat good lor..
another thing.. try to avoid BEIFFE. ex and lousy. chio but no use. if u like BEIFFE shapes, go look at OGK instead. quality wise better abit.. and cheaper abit lor. Now got new designs somemore.
