Rossi won the first MotoGP for 2002

Well guys juz to inform u all the Rossi took first place in the 2002 MotoGP opener......Second goes to a wild card jap rider riding a suzuki 4strokes......Can't really recall his name...third goes to Chece for Yamaha 4strokes.....Guess what i always say is truth.....4strokes rulesssssssss...........

Standings:
1. Valentino Rossi (4 stroke Honda)
2. Akira Ryo - wildcard (4 stroke Suzuki)
3. Carlos Checa (4 stroke Yamaha)
4. Shinichi Itoh - wildcard (4 Stroke Honda)
Sete Gibernau on his 2 stroke Suzuki got a 10 sec stop go penalty for jumpstart. of the 20 riders in the starting grid, less than 12 finished the race. the 2 strokes were no where to be seen.
Daijiro Katoh, last years 250cc world champion finished 2nd last and was lapped by Rossi. So was Alex Barros on his 2 stroke 500 west honda.
Most spectacular crashes - Gary McCoy crashed twice in the same race. Shinya Nakano was thrown like a rag doll but was unhurt. Max Biaggi crashed badly less than 5 laps into the race. there were so many crashes i can hardly remember which is which.
oh and one more thing... the aprilias were so far behind dat there wasn any aprilias in the top 6 for either 250 or motogp-class. apparently, aprilias really suck when it comes to rain races bcos their huge horsepower makes their rear slip around too much. -

Akira Ryo is also damn good , king of suzuka but too bad rossi's offensive overtaking skill is just too good ,really deserve to be world champ..Four stroke really trash the 2 stroke today , well despite of many top riders cock up today due to the wet weather rossi still prove he is the man ..For the 250cc all the top spot riders like Fonsi and melandri also screw up today , surprise it is won by wild card riders , today race is significant coz this prove wild card riders can excel too , especially they trash the other riders at 8th position and below by 40 over secs ... for more actions catch it live again at 21 april
