Heartiest congratulations to Tohru Ukawa on a brilliant race! Finally is able to defeat his fellow teammate Valentino Rossi when he chose to use the dual compound tires with a hard right and softer left for the dominantly right corner track. Rossi lost out by a fraction of a second on the heart stopping last lap when he almost lost control of his 4 stroke Honda on the 3rd last right hander, giving his teammate the opportunity he needed to squeeze past and secure victory.
Outstanding performance by Loris Capirossi too, the only 2 stroker who managed to keep up with the 2 RS211V Honda's. Behind him was a huge 15 second plus gap where nobody else could even smell his 2T.

instead of "WEST", it bcum their name on it!
