is gear oil and 4t the same thing? or u need to replace gear oil?

not exactly the same....
gear oil is used for 2stroke bikes in their gearbox, it can never be used in 4stroke bikes... our 2 stroke bikes' so called engine oil is actually 2T
4T is actually the engine oil for 4stroke bikes, but it ALSO can be used as 'gear oil' for 2stroke bikes...
so dun get mixed up!
