but now my gf is saying the bike look like those for uncle..but i told her i will be getting a silver one....more class ma...
sian...i also want sport bike like sp but...
1.high insurance
2.parts may get stolen
3.too common,like taxi
4.neeed 2t,unlike ta200
5.need to fix a box...to put my two helment & make sure gf is behind me and not standing on the road...hahah!!sport bike put box ugly loh!!
one more inquiry is can repair of ta200 be done in jb? are parts available and cheaper there?
any fellow rider care to comment on this???

do u know that we can change the color of our phantom?
only 3 parts to change, the mudguard, petrol tank n the rear mudguard...
but i dunno how much it costs...
we phantom150 can change to phantom200 colors n viceversa

If u are worried abt expensive maintenance and dun care so much abt power and speed...then any 4 stroke at 200cc is acceptable. It's quite easy to maintan but it doesn't give too much power. -
Respray should cost somewhere near $300; btw, if you're planning to upgrade to 2A eventually, try not to invest too much on your phantom.... cos that's wat I did and I regretted spending that amount of money on that bike.Originally posted by WhitePhantom:do u know that we can change the color of our phantom?

Even for my 150, the only thing I had to replace in 2 years of riding was a speedometer bulb and that was like $1 ? Unless you want to travel across the causeway to get it for 50ct.. -

my phantom last month i park in skul (ntu) go for lesson end of day wanna go home, skali knnbccb my phantom the tank dented, pipe oso dented and the side covers scratched till the metallic finish peeled off. i know its one of the bloody construction truck coz there were traces of mud on my tank, pipe and seat. but of coz the bloody f-er ciao so i never got to claim.
the dent on the ppipe not so noticeable, i polish a bit the pipe shiny the dent cant see from far. but the dent on the tank is very noticeable. i asked one mechanic but he tried to smoke me, he refused to quote a price to knock back onli he insist must respray and quote me $100++. i think he tryin to smoke me coz he didnt even take a look at the dent straight off tell me will need to respray. i asked anudder mech dis time he say he dont dare knock back coz underneath is the fuel tank liao, he say if i want must bring to honda centre and see if they got equipment to blow back the shape. he advise as long as the tank not leaking i shouldn't worry too much.
but of coz we feel pain go ard our bike got dent, so can tell me how much the tank cost?
or wait, u mean change as in respray and not replace?

Still on the topic of ta200...
dat day talk with another ta200 rider at the traffic light bcos im surprised by the powerful vrroom from his bike.
He tell me add fuel addicitive and ask mechanic tune up a bit can go just over 140km/h..
Does anyone noe of the side effects of fuel addictive?Or any recomendations?

anyway where i parked was a legal bike slot in my skul, lots of bike park there one. and my skul got a lot construction everywhere, can say almost all legal bike lots got some construction going on nearby. those few lots that dont have construction nearby either open air (i hate to park no shelter coz rain that time, you know lah the phantom so many metal parts) or the lot veri far from my lessons (if must walk far far then got bike for wat rite?). oh and dont ask me park illegal coz confirm kena warning letter from the security guard.

theres one there painted the shadow's black and red colours. oso changed wider handle bars and flat pedals. first time i saw it go past me i realli tot shadow skali damn shocked i saw the phantom logo on the tank. realli kool but spend so much on the bike want to upgrade to 2A wasted sia.

Anyone knows where to get saddle bag for my Ta200 beside Ah Boy? I already got a box, thinking of adding extra saddle bag. Who knows wat brand is good? And where the best place to tune up bike? And does it affect the fuel consumption and performance, cause earlier message someone mention abt tuning up engine for Ta 200. As for addictive, i don't think wanna try on my new bike. Comments?

Mine got 1 time go to 140km/h. but now max only 135km/h...
Thats why i post earlier ask anyone got recomendation for any addictives or tune up..
Runner 180 also mention abt it.. -
