Short-sighted bikers problem

Ever had this problem whereby u wear ur helmet wif ur spectacles on & ur spectacles distort out of ur face?
Any ways to solve this irritating problem?

when i started racing, i had this problem as well. what u need is a helmet that is of the right fit, which means if you put your helmet on and shake your head, the helmet should not move at all, but neither should it be too tight.
one your helmet is of the right fit, your specs should not slide around at all. -

thread starter problem was
when about to wear the helmet
sometimes we specky when wearing the helmet with spec on, the spec tends to misalign
to counter this problem what i did was
hold the straps and the d-ring
use my thumbs to hold the strap and d ring to the lower part of the cushion
use the rest of my fingers to hold the outer part of the helmet
this is the position to prevent the straps and d-ring from moving about
use the bottom back part of the cushion helmet and place it on your forehead just before your hair
slide it in
when it is nearing your ear,
use a bit force from the your hands to expand the helmet
OR
when nearing your ear
pull either one to make it expand
follow by the other side
once the ear part have been clear
just pull down the helmet and strap it -
I use to encounter this problem. You just have to find the right helmet/specs.
Generally, I hold on to the sides of the helmet and apply some outward pressure by pulling on the straps before sliding the helmet over my head.
Seems to work well but really, there are many variables such as the shaope of your head, the helmet, your specs, etc.
If you are wearing a full face helmet, then you just have to slide your specs in after you have worn your helmet. After a while you will find it almost 2nd nature and it would not bother you. This method might work for open-faced helmets too. So try it.
Of course, the simplest way to avoid these difficulties is to wear contact lens. -
Wear Motorbike goggles with degrees so u dun have to wear specs?
No need worry about the gogs slipping off or "kiaping " your temples as they are designed to cling on to the helmet firmly

Is it true that SHOEI helmets have the extra space @ the back of ur ears for allowance for those OAKLEY style sunglasses?

Not true.
Depends on your head's shape.
I known of folks who cannot wear shoei helmets but are comfortable with Arai helmets. -

It comes with prescription lens insert, plus it can flip open from the edge for ventilation to prevent fogging. -
i only ride pillion on my bro's bike when i wearing contact lenses, black plastic specs.
if metal specs den it's okay. -
my no frame spectacles tend to "loosen" when i use it with my full face.
so i usually use my black hard frame specs when i ride using my full face.
i avoid wearing contact lenses because it makes my eyes tired. -
Hopefully, that new contact lens will be out in the market soon.
The contact lens are worn only at night, when you sleep.
What the contact lens does was to help build up cells in on top of your eye balls.
The build up cells then angled by the lens to amplify the vision to such that you have almost perfect vision without the need for glasses in the day.
However, cells do die off. So that contact lens has to be worn regularly every nite for the good vision in the day.
