P plates sucks??

does anyone know got any penalty for not putting p plate??
my fren say 1st time kena warning only.. but i always read from article say summon $120, etc...
wat is the actual situation like?
for eg, stopped by TP on the road, stopped at road block...
pls enlighten.. thanks!

summon la..first timer depend the police lao lan a not loh...he see your face lao lan u tio $$ liao ,if not warning nia.......... put 1 plate also tio same

as for the one p-plate thing, depends on your acting.. must have that shocked "it-dropped-off?!?!" look... but if the tp kl, then u also ll lar..

2nd time: Licence revoked -

the 1st time is $120 fine + warning n the 2nd time is $120 + revoke.....this applies to whether u have only 1 p-plate or none at all, anyway just put loh wat's so difficult with the p-plate on?

i know some ppl think put p plate on bike not chio not stylo, especially if racer. i ride phantom i dont care bout looks just put the p plate. to me just 4 looks not worth $120 or worse still revoke.
but wat i find problem is not bout looks, i question its effectivenes. most drivers i see dont treat probation riders any differently. there is of course this minority which i noticed actually treated me a little nicer when they see my p plate. then again, theres also this black minority which actually like to eat probation riders, especially the @#%$ taxi drivers. donno how many times kena overtake by them without them changing lane like macam they the bike i the car. is this plate realli effective u guys think?

Even w/o the p-plate, some drivers think that bikes are a bunch of slow-moving machines and they do the same thing as well; once i got fed up w/ this lady driving a merc who juz cut into my lane (i was going at 90 in the centre lane) as if I was too slow... bloody cars always see i small small leave nice gap in front of me enuff 4 them to occupy will always slid past and cut suddenly in front of me as if i damn slow. they alwiz dont realize i realli same speed as vehicle in front, they onli see the gap and feel uneasy as if i wasting country's resources. some more one time one taxi did this to me skali the champion's rear bumper got sticker:

That's why when i first got license i always ride in left n centre lane.. but after a few mnts i got really fed-up with drivers especially lorries n truck that tail-gate me until like wan to kiss my rear even though i going 90km/h.So i now ride only in right lane. P-plate no matter how oso must put. Why let the tp earn your $$ tio bo?
Even though its true dat some drivers like look down on p-plate riders/drivers..but ccb they never think dat they at one time oso p-plate nia, right? Everybody sure got p-plate experience one lor so lets not look down or bully these riders/drivers...

By the way hor ... P-plate also got cheong one leh ... I din know this when I bought one. Got those type of P-plates, look a bit smaller in size, but like those flash stickers ... I bought my P-plate from LAB for $8. Then after a few weeks the 'sticker' started to fade.
The original one is 3M's type. Solid fluooscent colour. Dun think they'll ever fade (I never tried them before). But those are a bit more expensive.
So just be aware of this .... -

actually. the 1st time kena caught is warning, 2nd time caught is fine, 3rd time caught is revoke.
or maybe they changed the system before. becoz i got a friend kena caught by TP b4 for having only 1 p plate.
at 1st TP issue him the summon one, then my fren told him 1st time should be warning mah, not summon. then the TP lan lan cancelled the summon and issued him an official warning.

Here's a suggestion: cut away the excess edges and paste it on your radiator; looks much neater. I got a few friends last time kena caught abt last yr.
1st offence fine $100 (din not know they riase it to $120)
2nd offence revoke straight away, no chance given, even if appeal like siao
One of my frens 2nd time kena caught just because he had his back P plate drop off (front one still there), so his license revoked.
