newbie got qns to ask you guys..

lets say if i just got got licence and bought a bike.
and needa pump petrol for your bike. How should i go about it? As in how to operate the machine, and pump how much petrol....
Cos i know nth about bikes.
Does the Driving Centres teaches about this topic too?
newcomer here, interested to get a 2B. pls help.

1) ride to petrol station
2) park bike on stand, preferbably main
3) off engine
4) open fuel tank cap
5) grab pump of your choice (no diesel pls)
6) stick pump nozzle into tank
7) gently squeeze trigger
watch fuel level rise
9) stop squeezing wen tank is full
10) put back fuel cap
11) return fuel pump
12) start bike
13) get on
14) ride off
15) get arrested -
1) ride to petrol station
2) park bike on stand, preferbably main

5) right hand grab pump of your choice (no diesel pls), left hand put cigarette in ur mouth
6) ask for lighter -

The pump stations in SG dun pump petrol for riders. Whatever.
Some petrol stations like older Mobil stations will require you to lift a lever before the petrol gun actually start receiving petrol. Just look out for this lever when you lift the gun and you don't feel the petrol "rushing" in. -
when u run out of petrol u will force urself to learn

get help from the uncles there.
they will help u. jus tell them u know nuts about pumping oil.. they will be more then delight to help u.
prefer u to go shell as they got 1 of the best pump attendant in sg. -

i have seen signs at the pumps telling handicapped ppl to sound their horn if they need help to fuel their vehicle. -

Only Shell got dat stupid rule. Personally, I feel alot comfortable sitting on the bike while pumping petrol. That's why I try my best not to pump at Shell.
