btw castrol i bought the m-max liao
very gd
now very smooth......
but haven do anything to sporket and carburetter coz no $$ -
buy that will derestricted the power cut,,,,but no top end,,,just will reach 200km/p,,,,,just clear meter but no further speed,,,,i changing my chain and sprocket again,,,,,,wear out already....

any recomendations for wat type of sprocket to be used? -
i everyday will use my rvf,except sunday but sometime will work on sunday also and i stay around hougang and my work place is at boon lay,so i use up my sprocket and chain easily,,,each day the usage at least will use is 100km,time to change already,my front sprocket if got spare cash will change to AFAM sprocket and X-chain,,,,,more longer life span then other kind of chain and sprocket....now only can wait for pay day....

m-max cdi is small black box which is use to derestricted RVF power cut,normal RVF will power cut at around 180-190km but if its fix on the RVf behind the speedo meter and some wiring need to be done also,,then the power cut will be no more,,,,but that only cures the meter part,,as u need higer sprocket cos normal RVf sprocket is only 38,change into a 40 will be just nice,a gd chain,carb jet change into higer ratio jet as to let the oil enough for the engine to intake and when top end the oil is definetly a problem if u never set it rite....will feel lack of power if oil is not enough to intake for the engine.

Anyway, that CDI controls the meter part, but it does also affects the power rite? Like the power will increase? Can feel the diff?
Which means:
1.) Fix the CDI
2.) Change sprockets
3.) Tuning for jets?
How much like these will cost u? And which bikeshop u reccommend? -
i've got some problems now. Wonder if u know.
1.) That time i start bike, my headlights don have. Then i blow blow abit then the headlights on. I wonder if its the battery or rectifier symptoms...
2.) My rear brakelights, sometimes i tap have, sometimes tap don have.... also dono why...
Anyone?

those kind of things which u mention will easily cost u around $700,,,,cos the parts that need to buy and tuning and setting of the bike will be around that price, regarding yr headlight on/off at times,did u apply some lubricans on yr starter switch?? cos the headlight is using the starter swtich to ingite it,i also had that problem before but after apply some oil on to the switch then till now dun have such problems, or maybe its yr wiring need to be check...cos if sometime u press the brakes no lights came out then maybe the wring or the bulb is lose,can open up the tail lights to check whether is it tis problem. i tune my bike at kuang tai lee at defu lane, the mechanic is ah meng,he is gd at setting sport bikes cos he himself love to race and do stunts.

1. is your battery getting old already? don't think it's anything serious, if rectifier fails your bike would have died long ago liao... if it's a wet cell, try top up your battery water or get it replaced lor...
2. most likely it's a failing brake light switch. i had the same problem for my front brake, sometimes have, sometimes don't have. it's a small electric component near the brake lever/pedal. try spray some contact cleaner first. if it still doesn't help, check the connections, if it's those clip-on types for you, perhaps it's loose. use pliers to crimp the connector, and put it back on. wanna change the whole thing also can.. for my planet, the switch costs $20, for your jap beauty, prolly less... -
