do not try thames coz i heard from a friend saying it not good. not that professional coz they can just bring the exam dates or course eariler or to a later date.

they offer diploma courses which u can finish in either 8 months to 1.5 yrs. they allow non o level holders but u must pass their entry test b4 they enrol u. wat i know is that most private diploma schs must have min 3 o level credits with a pass in english, no entry test leh.... -
dun go any sch under informatics group, thames is one of them oso. their package is gd n attractive but they dun when u in the sch liao. i got a fren took biz couse at thame, she complain lecturers not professional, date of course can change anytime n exams can b bought forward with sudden notice n increase of payment for certain module without notice when u enrol. last min one everything. i regret taking my dip nw at informatics coz i facing a problem same as fren. i wanted to take sql as one of my module, when i entrol never say must pay extra now when want to entrol say must pay another $150+ bo standard not pro enuff. bad service somemore can get iso.

i from stansfield one. I suggest you take a dip for first and second yr then go to advanced dip and you can get the degree in the forth yr liao. they got 2 dips, one in econs and one in computing. for econs, first 2 yrs you will be studying sociology and quantitative methods (maths lor). second yr will be econs and intro to management. but for your case, you ITE i dunno whether can get in or not. you got 'o's? if have then i think no prob liao.their minimum criteria i think need 'o' level cert lor. stansfield not a bad school, lecturers also not bad, but also got black sheep lah, depends on luck one
and one more thing, their admin sucks.......however you can be rest assured the dates for exams are fixed as it is an international exam (just like 'a' level and 'o' level, your papers are marked in University of London) and also except for the tution fees which is about $3500 - $4000 for degree course, all other fees like exam fees, continuing registration are all fixed. the university also provides study guides and exam reports for references to students. just leave a msg here if you want to know more. i will try to help you -

all in all.. among pte institutions I tink SIM is the best in terms of teaching standards and reputation.
cos all the lecturers need to qualify at least 5 yrs teaching experience b4 they can teach there. in fact b4 u start school, u'll get a writeup abt the qualification abt the lecturers whu r goin to teach ya. unlike some pte centres where their lecturers can be as new as 1yr experience nia.
and hor...... snacks are provided in between classes.
