You can share a bike with a family member/neighbour or something. Or get a second hand bike.
Basically if I were to buy a sports bike I would prefer it to be brand new. But I would consider a 2nd hand chopper bike. The type of bike tend to reflect the type of riding style. Wouldn't you agree? -

wat is the price for new and second hand s4 now? include road tax, IU and insurance? wat other bikes is worth gettin? wats the diff between RVF and fireblade? and suzuki GSXR? which bike good? dunno which 2 get lei.... but not scramblers coz i not tall... honda steed? hmm.... anybody gives some suggestions? believe tat all of u should have oreadi scout ard for bikes when u upgrade... can recommend the evaluation then? hehe... thks hor!

kokomo you pass 2A already? there's a good deal on singnet classifieds. ang mor selling his FN plate version S for $6k. 29,000 mileage only.. RVF is a V4, blade is inline 4.. which bike good or not i can't comment... -
haven pass yet but plannin ahead... hehe... i waitin TP now... wanna chk out the market first and c which bike is worth the price... i quite happy wif my sp now though but juz in case i wanna change...

you'll sure wanna change bike when you pass one.. imagine you're riding a repsol, only that it's got 2 pipes and is card-activated... my friend got his NSR 2 weeks before he took his 2A, lucky he passed.. -

personally riding the Gix msp for coming 5 mths already. didnt gimme any major problems so far.
basically the bike has a low resale value.
meaning that its cheap and good to whack.
performance is comparable to the other 400s.
but pickup sure lose to the 250s lah
different models of the Gsxr but none of the models have a powercut unlike the RR or RVF.
bottomline: the bike is a good buy if it matches the criterias below
1. hopefully no major hitches comes up. or else overhaul 4 pistons
will burn a big hole in ur pocket
2. u got enuff strength to push the bike or lift it up or pull it down to
take a corner. *im doubtful*
3. cheap buy.
wont want to compare with the other 400s coz ... no point. see wad u look for lor or ask the others to comment.
ps: dun ask henry coz he sure say his PGM 4 is the best wan
and chris will say TZR250 3ma is the best.best in the and dun ask me coz i will say RS250 is the WWW ( whole wide world). -

dom dom, RVFs FM is without pwoercut, but previous owner got removed anot we dono mah, anyway, most RVFs got powercut but still a V4 engine mah, somemore RVF engines are new, and G4's engine are aged liao, even if u overhauled it also have differences one mah, rite? So cannot really compare lah....
what i think is, G4 quite cheap, so buy and do anything to it also no so heart pain.. get what i mean? -
