Transfer Ownership - Insurance question

hello guys, appreciate any advice ...
I'm getting a second hand Honda Phantom 150 (upgrade from RXZ). I checked the LTA site on transfer of ownership and everything seems simple enough except the part about insurance.
Should it be ...
1). the present owner change the Phantom insurance to my name.
2). i change my current RXZ insurance to the Phantom.
3). i get a new insurance policy for the Phantom.
if it's 1).
the present owner is older, so do i need to top-up?
if it's 2),
what about the insurance for my RXZ?
if it's 3),
which insurance provider is the best - lowest rate, most convenient?

Best if you can bring your friend along to the insurance company...
you can transfer your old bike insurance to your new one or u can get your money back for the remaining months...but "boliao" lah you get less in return...There's a transfer fee that u need to pay...
But if you want, you can ride your RXZ till it's insurance expired.... thats the best deal u can get....

insurance cannot be transferred,
it can onli be refund and use as a offset for ur new policy,
provided both r done at the same co.
the insurance mus be transferrred than can do transfer of ownership -

ah_tee is right, insurance cannot be transfered.
in the end, i had to buy new insurance. but it's ok, third party for honda phantom is just $150 a year for me.
bought from mitsui's office at Golden Mile Complex. -
