husky is a light light scrambler... abit low on power... coz of the 125 blk... but its a very very stylish bike if u do it up nicely! and get the red plastics! and best of all... if u are into JUMPS proper? this is the bike!! but totally no resale value i think... and if u are thinking of keeping it long... not really a good investment...Originally posted by Adam&Eve:Is the brand Husqvarna a good brand? maintenace wise ?Husqvarna WR 125 is pretty nice leh ...
How about the maintenance wise? is it expensive for the parts?Originally posted by KneeSlider:husky is a light light scrambler... abit low on power... coz of the 125 blk... but its a very very stylish bike if u do it up nicely! and get the red plastics! and best of all... if u are into JUMPS proper? this is the bike!! but totally no resale value i think... and if u are thinking of keeping it long... not really a good investment...
So are u riding one?Originally posted by KneeSlider:its not too expansive, 2t one bottle lasts 1half week? petrol high consumption though... change gear oil once a month... the accesories are well similar to other scrambler stuff....
headlight about 120? tires a pair 150-180? excel rims 500 a pair?
pipe 250, plastics very cheap 200 can cover all i think... but bike stickers ermmmm about 250 for sticker kit and seat wrap...
the expansive stuff are the same for all other scramblers...
talon wheel hubs about 1k?
ohlins scott steering damper... 1.3k?
handlebar 250?
brush guards not sure...
this are some of the prices....
but husky125 lots of vibration... if u are female u will enjoy it! if u are male... well lets just say if u pillion ur gf on the bike... u would sit forward alittle... and when u reach ur dest... sometimes u wont be able to feel ur family jewels for about 3-4mins... get wat i mean?![]()

Seems to me tt u rode a scram b4 too. So whats the maintanence of a scram? How often do u have to change the air filter? Heard from friends tt u can actually clean the filter instead of changing.
For me i service my Scram every 2000km. It includes changing the gear oil, servicing the carb n valves. Tts abt all. Is there anything tt i missed out?
Izzit correct to apply mileage used to servicing instead of time?Cos i seldom ride my scram n thus service only when i hit the mileage, which meant tt servicing it once every 5-6mth...
