Any recommendations for vespa?

Hey guys.. I am thinking of getting a vespa... ANy good bike shops to intro? And, comparing Vespa and piaggio.. which is better? I like small bikes.. but i dun like spark or wave..

piaggio - neutral
gilera - sporty
all 3 branches are owned by piaggio. -
this is my 2 cents:
1. go to tong aik. state your intent to mdm soh and be patient.
2. if there is a good one, she will call u.
3. espcially for older scoots, it pays to be patient. also, go for the good engine, mechanically sound scoot, dun be `bought' by a nice interior. it can always be done up.
i went to a few places/workshops but most shp owners r not totally honest. they just want to sell u the scoot. in the end, i went to tong aik and since they dun sell scoot per say, they are more upfront with the scoot condition.
i was lucky. someone retiree gave up their px150 and i pick it up for about $900 wif abt 5 years to go. it's a 25yr old bike. tong aik gave the thumps up for the engine. ah wee, the wshop boss was kind enuf to compare the conditions of a few vespas. i then do up the exterior, spending about $1400 for doing it up. total abt $2500 plus insurance. abt $500/yr, can't ask for more...
it will take 2 weeeks in total for the do it and i can't wait. my first vespa, better late than nvr.... -
Wow cool! I love old vespas. this tyre is the 3rd best among the vespa riders
per tyre cost $36
2nd best if dunlop
best pirelli tyre
ensure it is made in brazil
as the grip is different from made in italy
other than that, most vespa riders dont even want to look at other brand
as we cannot afford to compromise on safety with cheap tyres -
