you mean among the TA150 different year of manufacture got different powercuts? how can you tell? mine is FQ plate first sent to the shop here in 99. you mean my particular TA150 has less powercut? -
generally, from wat ppl claim is that the sticker label phantom got no power cut... but i do see some FR plates with 3D label leh...
its confirmed that the older phantoms got more power than the newer ones.... u can ask acoolboy7 too, he has tried both type of phantoms b4... -
today also see one ah pek vroom past me at traffic light.. power siar.. both TA200 mahz.. he FT i FU.. shouldn't be any difference ritezz?? ah pek go modify his bike izzit.. maybe he got more skill..

He probably have got the bike with the pre-resistricted exhaust system. 1 the bike becomes noisy when it hit 80. not when 90 not when 70 but only 80???
2 when not properly warmup will find it v difficult to change gear??

1) Change spark plug to Denso Iridium
2) Change engine oil to synthetic oil
3) Change to Shell V-Power
4) Use Fuel Additive (to clear carbon deposits in carb)
5) Tune up/clean your carb (for 1/2 throttle to 3/4 position)
There should be immediate improvements if you try out some or all of the above. -

cos feel my bike cannot full throttle wan leh, the power from the gear wil finish at about 3/4throttle, -

by the way i experience the same thing at 80kmph. in fact it's how i tell i'm at dat spd (at gear 6) without looking at the speedo.
changing engine oil is a gd idea, unless u oredi changed recently. when was ur last oil change? -

i riding a phantom 150 !! when riding at speed 100+, my bike power feel like sth blk it from coming out !! it power wan 2 increase but cannot !! wat the main reason 4 tis ??

hey i got the same prob too...

when i get the bike 4 the 1st time, my top speed can btween 130-140 !! but after tis incident, my bike seem cant reach 120 liao !!
if go higher than 120, my bike power seem got sth blk its power from coming out !! how long u bought yur phantom ??

wat r the advantages n disadvantages of running lean n rich?
that time my mech tuned for me, he never take out the spark plug to check, he jus listen to the engine sound onli.... -
