U couldn't have see my bike cos it's been sealed up for a year. I met an accident last year Feb and started driving my family car since then. But next month riding back my SP again. I have not started the bike for ages, now that I went to start it, the engine will die when I turn on my headlights. But I thought 2 stroke bike dun reply on battery that much to the extend of engine dieing off when i turn on the lights. What happened?Originally posted by HRCnsrSP:either 152/153 . could not remember(should be 153). u riding FP plate SP ? where u staying? might see ur bike before.

No point using K&N air filter as u can only feel the difference in the mid-range...Originally posted by HRCnsrSP:original main jet is 152. i'm using 155. if ur pipe is not derestricted, no point changing.. get a K&N air filter..u will feel a slight increase in pickup..
step 1derestrict ur pipe
step 2get a K&N air filter( if low budget, u can get OEM one frm LIMAHBOY)
step 3change ur oil jet( ask ur mech to recommend u, but ur fuel consumption will increase, means u need to go to the petrol kiosk more offen and do this after u derestrict ur pipe, if not no point doing.)
step 4pay $$
there's more to modifty and create improvement to ur bike.. but the above should be enough to let u feel the difference..
less than 10 bucks can areadlyOriginally posted by otacon:Actually it's quite cheap to change the oil jet rite?
high chance goin too lean alreadiOriginally posted by otacon:Hi HRCnsrSP. Like to know if K&N filter really works? And how much for it? Where u bought it other than LIMAHBOY?
I have unrestricted my exhaust pipe but changed to a smaller oil jet because something wrong with my carburetor. And then I went to another shop, they asked me to change back to original cos oil jet too small, piston might jam when going fast. Anyway, below is the problem:
Whenever my rpm is before 5000 and after 5500, the bike goes smoothly. What happens between rpm 5000 and 5500 is that my bike will start to shake as if not enough fuel or too much fuel rushing in. So I guess between rpm 5000 and 5500, it's when my valve opens, causing this problem.
U happen to know what's the problem?
