Gsxr1000 vs 2002 R1 vs CBR 954... local test.. whos the best

I think everyone is wondering right now which of these open class bikes are the best? i am wondering too... coz whenever wanna upgrade everyone has to think of which one to buy...
so guys what do u think?? i somehow think that the gsxr1000 abit old liao.. the 954 very nice shape especially the tail and the 02 r1 is soooo sleak!! but they say the gsxr1000 is the most powerful... so what do u all say??

i heard pple saying tat 02 r1 is not as powerful as the old r1...

heard tat G1 have no problem hitting 300km/h,as for Cbrr954 the good thing bout it is the fantastic handlimg,power wise not too sure but got ppl say stock bike can hit 275 to 280 km/h,R1 no idea,jus nice loh

normally shuld be gsxr1000. R1 is way to powerful and light to control. cbr i not so sure. the new R1 is too damn light, but its still as powerful as ever. correct me if i am wrong on that. but if a person knws how to play with R1, i think it definitely wun have any problems in beating gsxr1000. =]

they oughta pit those machines against an nsr500. then they know they'll gotta go back to the drawing board.

actually i think it is quite the opposite. in the hands of a good rider the k2 will whip the ass of the r1 with a rider of similar skill. k2 is more powerful then the r1 and its longer wheelbase allows u to use the extra power out of corners.Originally posted by Green|e:normally shuld be gsxr1000. If you were referring to G1, I agree that G1 will still beat R1, both 2002 and 2001 versions. That's my personal opinion, though. No offence to R1 supporters -

critics rave abt the 02 R1 being very much better in performance over the 01 model. Esp in handling. experts pitted the 02 R1 and K2 early tis yr in US and results being K2 came first.
when the bike is brought to corners, the 02 R1 overtook the K2 quite alot.. but when back to straights, the K2 was very soon out of sight.
but looks wise..... I'm hands and feet up for R1 still... :p~~~~~

snowball... i dunno where u read dat the 02 r1 corners better... but from sitting on a r1 compared to the gsxr... the rear shock is soooooooooo soft!! i wonder if it can be stable in corners... or bounce here and there...
anyway i think toapayoh is ermmmm kinda loud... so what do u ride toapayoh?
and as for the nsr500 well if u got jeremy burgess tuning the bike for u and a whole team of suspension experts to handling experts to answer any feedbacks u have... well of course the nsr500 will be better... but hey i think the 1000cc stock bikes are actually doing quite well... all of them... -
The 01 R1 will never win the G1 in straight.
G1 is way too powerful. Just imagine a G1 par with a haya until 280km then the haya manage to shake it off. -

In my opinion, in the power output department the GSXR will rule till next year...mayb the ZX-10R.
Handling wise the 954 handles well, the R1 better and the GSXR best still, off the crate but after certain tuning and mods the R1 can match onli losing in the sheer power whc will often determine the outcome of a race in certain circuit
Anyway HONDA never win races....HRC does!

Anyway i saw a group of big bikes recently.....consist of 7-8 GSXR1000s and 2-3 ZX12Rs and nothing else! NO hondas and NO Yamahas!
SO arent theses ppl riding the best bikes on the planet? WOW! they got the best in the 1-litre class and the Open class as well...
Anyone here knows them? Mayb we can get them to test out the 3 bikes haha....any 954 and 2002-R1s here?? I mean friendly testing of course.
