I myself hv many bad encounter with both female & taxi drivers (of cos male drivers also hv but not as much).
Some female so small size driving such big car, so poor in their judgement. Always see them move in the middle of 2 lanes. I wanna cut between also scared. Worst thing abt them are majority forgot wat is checked blind spots.
As for taxi drivers, they keep thinking they r king of the road. Drive like they own the whole sg roads. Got scared by them a few time when they lane change in front of me without signalling.
One of my frens kanna kill in a bike accident with taxi when this stupid taxi driver was trying to get a passenger n change lane from the 3rd to 1st. My fren was the pillion n the bike he was on was on the 2nd lane. The taxi just slam into them n my fren fly for abt 50-100m n fell to his death.
Hope we can hv more safer drivers than dangerous drivers in sg in the near future...
taxi drivers drive for long hours n they depend on passengers for their livelihood. But dat doesn't give them d excuse to drive as they want... my dad got knocked down by a taxi at a junction.... d taxi beat a red light to left... unfortunately my dad was in his way... now my dad doesn't ride anymore... one advice he gave me dat i always follow: never ride anywhere near a taxi... and really sorry for wat happened to your friend beyonder...
