Eh, GUYS GUYS!!! it doesn't matter who ride what bike... still bike ride... just depends wat u all like to ride individually wat... dun flame one another lah... u like ur own bike can liao mah... but true lah, buying scram in singapore is abit not so practical, no place to do serious trailing...then again why is malaysia so near us? cause for us to go there to trail lor....
each has their own type of fun mah...
if u like scram just buy lor, u like road then buy road lor... i also now still dunno wat to buy, cos i goin ns in january buy wat also not much use... maybe get one for transport only....
if u cant decide then buy both lor, like me like that, buy a road racer then buy a mountain bike lor... happy go road riding, not happy jio frens go bukit timah off road... but that is bicycles lah... now must decide wat motor to buy liao...
anyway, i heard that mandai there has a scram trail called "woodcutters"... dunno anywan heard of it....
so if anybody got lobang for motor, email me hor... i dun want to take bus to seletar camp everyday...

Well personally I think I only can AFFORD to be a weekend worrior loh... I understand tt it takes a lot of money to maintain a gd dirt bike like KTM or Gasgas... haiz... but I am juz looking for one that is not too to the road and one not too to trailing. I would like to know any recommendations KDX 200? coz I saw it through the net and find it quite recommendable but I heard form others here like its not very gdz leh... haiz...My head big big ar... :/
I myself is a guy nd I think I am tall enough to meet those minimun minimun requirements right? =) =) =)

I just wanna say, we are not against any people riding scrams or what. Its becoz 99% people in this forum rides sports bike, and more on passion to sports bike, and we are just encouraging our fellow newbies into sports bike, so whats wrong with it? U also can encourage them to scrams. The final decision to what kinda bike the newbie wants to buy is on himself. U all don even understand this simple reason and wanna start kao peh kao bu like "Klamath" who thinks he knows everything but still unaware that his underwear is broken. *what a fool is he*

kdx200. rather cheap, old, problematic, parts are not readily available, it better off as a purely weekend dirt bike. from your requirements its best you get a dt200wr. -

Firstly to Yinnig - Its best for you to get wr200. Its very ideal if u wanna trail a bit and use it for transport abit. Get an FQ plate.... and the resale value is quite high for wr. KDX is a no-no.
Its actualli not very expensive to maintain a scram. If u use it purely for transport.... then the maintenance would be the same as in any other bike. Its only when u trail....then u can see dirt everiwhere. Suspension a bit loose.... its those kind of stuff.
Zechs's DT piston jammed??? wow.... never heard of DT getting its piston jammed. But i believe his DT is a bit old rite??? got send to check it up ornot???
Klamath - eh....u funni ah....u dirt rider but wanna challenge ppl using r1?? At least put African Twin not that far from dirt bike rite??? Dissapointing....
