i notice that when i just start my bike, i have no problem in accelerating in gear 1 and 2. but after a long distance of travelling, when i stop at traffic light or just stop, i have problem accelerating in gear 1. its like very slow pick up, and when i change to gear 2, it will have a loud revving sound, then at 30km/hr the bike will like have a sudden surge in power. same as gear 1, when moving off, will accelerate very slow, and at around 10-15 km/hr will have a loud revving sound, then a surge of power. any1 can tell me why is this happening? ty.
gearbox problem?
u should just send it to a shop and tell them what's wrong.
What bike? Could it be psychological problem?
Like you've already gotten used to the speed that's why you feel that it's slow.
Your brakes stuck?
Your engine oil gummy?
The situation comes about after you have been on the way, therefore it cannot be gear problem, because then that would happen right from the start.

the DIY version of VTEC?
joke aside...ur problem sound serious...as in...U never know where that surge of power will take U...so better get it checked out by a mechanic...I guess might have to see if ur gear 1 and 2 are worn out or something...
i think surge of power is a lil too exaggerating...haha..btw he rides ta200..i think i know how the feeling is coz my company's bike wave oso like that...probably clutch plate?i donno much, but i know its wear and tear.
whatever the case the problem is internal,so better go bikeshop and check.
worn clutch plates. have fun.
