Over these years I end up having several motorcycle helmets.
I have just kept my helmets which I am not using.
I realise that other than the one I am using, I have 5 other helmets.
1) My first helmet which I used to take my prac lessons. Plain white. I put a scrambler 'duck mouth' after I got my first scrambler bike. Its a trophy I keep to remind me how hard it was for me to pass (4 times TP).
2) My first NOVA helmet from LAB. Got visor then can ride faster. Full 'Troy Lee Design' sticker set on helmet. Re-wrap the cushion after it smells, and kept it in store.
3) One scrambler full face helmet...seldom wear.
4) 2 'MHR' helmets - one quite loose (got L size too big) and one for pillion only (use less than 10 times for pillion as I seldom got pillion ppl without helmet)
My most expensive one ARAI SZ RAM II I lost it at Kovan...my wife left it behind at the hawker centre seat.
What are your helmet stories?
Bikers bikers where are you guys?
ha now u mentioned thn i realise i better stop buying or getting rid
1) vintage shoei half cap (finding time to restore it)
2) half cap with cream leather full wrap
3) half cap with brown and white leather full wrap + visor
4) shoei half cap white
5) half cap with black leather full wrap
6) Jap brand retro open face matt black
7) Arai retro open face matt black
8) Arai Ram II open face Silver (had one flat white but it was stolen)
9) Arai Full Face Doohan Replica
10) Korean Brand Swat Team Helmet (use only during bike events)
n i jus gave away 2 msr helmets a few months to my old neighbour few months back. dont remeber how many i threw away....
Have a "Hyper" helmet which I bought from lab when I took my licence. Now give pillion wear.
Another OGK Aeroblade II Full Face helmet bought few months back. But never take care properly, dropped a few times and now there's a big crack at the back.
Contemplating to buy an Arai or Shoei helmet to pamper myself.
i only have 4 so far. mostly half caps, bought in thailand and taiwan. am going for my class 2 tp soon and if `ho sei', will add full face since intending to get sports bike.

wah...your pillion smell your sweat. hahaha
I have three. Two GPR in active usage.
The first Supa which I also keep as a trophy because I use that helmet all the way from 2B to 2. I find it comfortable for learning because the sponge is not thick and it does not clamp on to my head, like a proper helmet should.
i have 3. 1 friend forget take, 1 friend give me which i use for pillion and 1 for me, my lucky 1. this lucky helm of my, during my 1st accident, visor came off and got run over by a cab, didnt break and helm alot of 'battle scratches'.
one open face during training.
one ogkff3 ff
2 oepn face that came with the scooters
1 MHR ff
1 Nolan ff

yeap, thnx bro. just change. to a yohe helm. so now total 3.
Another fren just dump me his open face & 1 Zeus ff.
He asked me to sell it, but they are non removeable linings, so I tells him it cant sell.
Anyway, I will have to give them away. So does anyone wants spare helmets?
Plus because I am moving away from sg, I wanted to give away my FF helmets too. Because that darn (Swing) PSP stickers are no use in USA or Thailand.
And technically, your helmets needs changing if you have ever dropped it or crashed in them.
And if you are not sure that your helmet inside is cracked, bring them helmets thru some x-ray machines at gahment security building and you might be able to see.

Wow! Thanks for this info! Didn't know this. But they probably won't let us use it to check the cracks would they?

Just be nice to the security officer lah, and tell him/her to let you see the x-ray scan of your helmet that you are pushing thru their x-ray machines.
Most of them are riders themselves and would be glad to chit chat with you and discuss your helmets.

Cough........
No babe, I do not have a small head, all my helmets are size L.
I am kinda like a dwarf, small hands, small feet, big head and errm.....big ego.
The small hands and feet are where I usually have problem buying riding stuffs in Singapore. Size 35 feet & must take female Small glove or you will find lots of materials at the ends of my fingers.....its like....can fit another segment of your fingers.
i only got 1 bell offroad helmet... damn old school type.
anyone got OGK FF3 or Shoei X-11 for sale?
viciouskitty i want your FF helmets! can?
Errmmmm....OGK kinda a bit old and covered with hello kitty stickers with markers marks on it.
How about a Nolan Helmet? its not mutilated as my OGk.

opps...
dont worry about it....I am big everywhere...my head...ego...and....somewhere else.
Then where do U get ur riding gear?online or when U travel?
I dont think U will have problems finding people to take over ur FFs.
worst-case...get the garang-guni man to help U out.
I got my riding gear online in USA, because sg just dont not stock most sizes.
My only regret is that the riding jackets & pants I got in USA is very very hot.
For travelling in Asia, even up to Northern Thailand, its still better to get a mesh jacket, and use rollar blade knee pads under or over your thick jeans.
And because of the helmets PSB requirements in sg, its cheaper in the long run to buy in sg.
It was more expensive to buy helmet in USA, especially when you see a Shoei at a cheap price, lift it up and felt it weigh 10 kilos and made in thailand.
I end up not buying anything much except for some parts for some friends' goldwing at a shop. The rest they ordered it online and send to my living address so I can hand carry back those parts.

Er no dear, I errmmmm was in USA for a while. Thailand for a short while and now back in sg.
I've never been to taiwan, but i might have to make a trip soon to track down one old man for his signature for something. Maybe next month.
So whats nice to buy in taiwan?
