heard from my motor tiam that a 2b 4-stroke bike will get heated and burn dun know wat when constantly run over 100km/h and that will cause the bike to leak black oil... the shop said that 2b 4-stroke dun run 2t so will get more hot and will burn a hole on something that will cause the leakage... i saw some 2b 4-stroke bike did got black oil leakage... can some expert clear my doubt and tell me what cause the leakage... thanks...

if follow wad ur motorshop says, then those tua gus wif 4 cyclinders one how?
i have rode a 4 stroke 150cc and a 4 stroke 400cc b4
not doubt the 400 feels much more hotter, but then its normal u see, jus follow ur temp gauge
my 4 stroke 150cc neber leak anything at all
sommore its a air cool v-twin with no coolant
some bikeshop like to scared pple n earn money out of it.. -

It will not overheat if the bike is really running at 100kph non stop. Because the wind will cool the engine down even if its not water cooled like Phantom200. How come the mechanic can joke abt this. -

the phantom is a reliable bike and should have no problems sustaining expressway speeds. why does four strokes leak oil? i think the gaskets will wear out with age. a replacement gasket should rectify this problem provided the engine is well looked after in the first place. -
Another typical motodiam BS. A mechanic from a Serangoon Road bike shop once told me that I have to change my 4T once every 500km. Its ridiculous to do that, I might as well take public transport, save me the hassle of dropping by his place every week.
