Any opinions which one is better in terms of factors such as: Looks, user-friendly(easy to maintain), convenient for user(box on the bike), value for money, speed, security(on spare parts), save money(for repair) and can sells easily as a form of 2nd-hand bike in the later part??Any unknown special or piss off stuffs hidden with these two bikes??

Well, if you're a 'chiongster' then get sp. If you're someone who like to cruise around and dont go fast, and have alot of 'barang'X2, take phantom.

box: phatom looks nice wif box.. saw few sp wif box damn ugly

security : sp is abit of threat cos sp alot in singapore n sp 95% is all youngsters like us riding etc. wat some farkers think a ehhh...my sp signal light spoil ahhh no need buy lar i go one carpark sure got sp bike to take from, phatom is much safer

anyway my 2 cents..
the phantom is much more practical, if you don't wanna play.. phantom doesn't look weird with a box, nice easy riding position, comfort, no fairing to break or scratch (can fit crash bar also), cheaper insurance and all...
for SP, insurance is really killer. i'm 23, 0 riding experience, quoted $774 for insurance. er.. handling wise, didn't like it.. felt kinda sluggish... dunno... just my 2 cents...

If u want something tt can't go wrong get phantom 150. Tested and proven tt its good. As for 200, still haven't been long enough to see the problem, so not sure. anyway think you should know, phantom 150 runs on the same engine as sp, so pick up abt the same, but the body is not built for speed so the top end would surely loose to sp. from what I heard 200 lacks power. maintenence of phantom abt the same as sp if something goes wrong, both assembled in Thailand.

I'm currently riding a phantom 150. i have also try many time riding an SP...In term of performance, it SP alright...
Phantom is great if you want to crusie and go far..like SP your hands and back will easily get tired cause need to bend liao a bit to reach the handle..This is also true for pillion rider..Pillion complain that SP seat very hard and not comfortable..
BUt SP is great in term of looks, feels and speed. Love the acceleration.It difficult though to maintain SP as it needs constant care like 2T and the parts always get easily lost...My cousin seat, light and mirrior alwasy got stolen one!!! So both are good, it up to you.. -

between the Phantom and Sp, which is more expensive??
How do SP riders carry their stuffs without the box??? ie: extra helmet??? -
Hey it is true but i think the newer models (the ones with the metal tag) r alot less powerful then the older ones (the one with the phanton sticker). it is possible to hit 170 on the older models at least on the meter but for the newer ones i think the maxiumum is 150 if i am not wrong. anyway i tried both models b4 and the older ones are significantly more powerfulOriginally posted by sunnyday:dun come n joke lor...top speed 170??? -
