  get better discs.
  get better calipers.
  get better pads.
  use better fluid.

  lemme elaborate on this ...
  
  firstly, use steel braided brake cables. both front and rear. brands like goodridge or swage should do the trick. costs ard 230 bux for both front and back lines
  
  secondly, change brake pads. good ones like carbon lorraine works well.
  costs i think 25 per pair
  
  thirdly, use better brake discs. u wan really good ones use carbon discs. or higher than av. use carbon lorraine. 250+ for front. rear dunno how much.
  
  brake calipers use brembos.
  no question asked abt its performance.
  
  dot fluid ley.. higher dot rating the higher bite it got. 10 bux for a dot5.1 brake fluid.
  
  must ensure that the calipers and fluid is not dirty and no air bubbles in the brake hose too.
  
  how much u wanna spend depends on u liao

  no need to waste the money unless your SP engine is highly modified. the stock brakes are more than enough for a SP in stock form.
  
  i think you need to improve your braking skills further.

  Keep safe following distance, give more allowance for stopping.Front brake + rear brake & engine brake coordinate should be good enough liao. No need to spend that kinda $$$. That's wat i think.......

  Because when u use the original rubber brake hose, when u depress on ur brake, the rubber hose being elastic, will expand by a bit and therefore the braking power reduce.
  And when u use a steel brake hose, steel being a harder material, does not allow the brake fluid from expanding itself.
