Bike keeps scraping on hump

My bike, Phantom 200, keeps hitting road bumps. Went to the shop to ask if the shock adsorbers could be raised a little. But the mechanic said that it comes in standard size.
One of my good friend asked me to loose weight. Might consider but are there any other options? -

its the stomach of ur exhaust pipe that is hitting the hump...
cos phantom ground clearance very low, gotta be very slow when approaching hump, preferably 2nd gear.. like wat SUPERFOUR said, let ur front wheel go up the hump as slow as possible, then allow ur back wheel to go up half way n then can whack throttle oredi....

Just dun brake when going through the hump, it tends to lower your front fork. Jus slow down, maybe drop to 1st gear, then go over it slowly without using the brake.

Today I was pillioning my father, total combined weight of almost 200 kg. Went up a hump at a very slow speed, 1st gear, still scrap the hump.
Heart pain. -
u can try taking the hump at an angle. which means, having the rear wheel up the hump before the front wheel completely goes over the hump. get what i mean???

go over the hump like those racing cars with beri low body kit. move from left to right over the hump. tat means go over the hump in a diagonal style.
