i m taking prac 2 at ssdc...bt i have developed a phobia of goin for lessons..can any1 gif me advice?

hi,i also at ssdc taking 2b waiting for tp , y u got phobia going for lesson , one thing i can tell u nv give up keep on going the more u fail de better u get , i also like u ,i got phobia going for lesson but i kept on telling me self not to give up , imaging i when for pra 2 for 4 time , there was times when instruter told me to come back to repeat de lesson again i felt like throwing the de book in rubbish bin , but now look i am waiting for tp , so nv give up , keep on going , when u pass ur 2b u will cheris it more. p.s nv give up.

i got no confidence in handling the bike coz i kenna bang by wan guy before in prac 1...felt so helpless when i noe i was goin to fall....

dun be discourage lar... the first 4 practs a bit scary... then come to the rest... left wif tests and revision liaoz.. very easy one..
cuz the first few, they teach u the skills mah... that's why a bit hard.. but that's really what u need on the road. the more u fail, the better u get... and its better for u to fail 1 time then to fail 1 tp and wait another 1 month for it right? see it in a nice way... and press on... i took pract 1 for 3 times.. pract 2 another 3 times, pract 5 4 times... kaoz... that time i also almost give up.... just press on lor..

dun feel discouraged... I too fell a few times in ssdc. 3 or 4 times in prac 1. so what? the important thing is to get up and try again, after u get used to the bike riding is a pleasure... and from then on it's smooth sailing all the way...

a better way to look at it is, its better to fail in the circuit while you're still learning, than to fail on the road when you're riding.
fall then fall, nvm, no matter whose fault it is, get up and try again.
learning 2b is like a box of chocolates, you'll never know what you'll get.

Ride bike cannot be afraid of falling or buang-ing. Although we should avoid them at all costs.
Once you move away from the fear of falling and watever, then you'll be able to be more confident.
During my lessons, I oso buang a couple of times. But I don't give a damn about the buang, so it's ok.
The only thing that stops you from doing what you want, is yourself. -

I can still remember I wanna give it up and started wondering if learnin bike is a great mistake when i realise the bike is so heavy and seem hard to control during the first prac. Even prac 3 I fell 5 times. But never give it up. Dun be fearful also. The more u fear, the more phobia u hav, the more likely u wil make the mistake again. Just pluck up the courage and just do it. Can one. U can see the reap of the fruits at the end of it all... like me...

U must always fall before u can walk tio bo?
The learning experience is always the most joyous time...if u buang as long as u not injure just fuck care cause its not yur bike anyway...but of course must learn from yur mistakes, dun just buang for fun...

Well, I din fall or anything in the circuit. I had to learn my lesson the hard way. On the open road on my bike. The feeling was ouch! For a month. I am still not fully recovered. Learn to know the pain in the circuit rather than on open road.

Guys, dun stress this Tynnie liao lah, maybe u shd stop for a while b4 taking ur next prac, i mean for a while... u may wan to regain ur courage/confidence to go for ur next prac, so rest a while n go for it again.
I am not asking u to give up, juz rest a while...
i m taking my rest now also... haha... :p

Dun put too much stress on yourself. Alot of people out there also retake their pracs alot of times. So you are not alone, rem, practice makes perfect.
About the collision, that's what the elbow and knee guards are for!
All are trainees, so bound to make mistake and accidents do happen, even to experienced riders. Take it as part of training.
Dun gove up, if you give up, like me, I gave up 2 times due to money/time problems then, I would have be having class 2 now, not just 2a and still have to wait 1 more year for class 2! So give your best, you can do it!! -
dont give up i fall so many time liao figure 8 i fall 2 time , crank i fall 1 time , when pra 1 also fall 2 or 3 time , but nv give up wat noel64 said is true b4 u know how to walk u , fall down alot of time but u still stand up n try to walk , n now u are walking n running. p.s everything in life u have to go one step at a time.n soon u will master each of the step perfectly

Haha...good one...but me better. While lining up to go signal from tester, I kicked to first gear without clutching in. Then the bike moved forward and i lost control. Then the bike fall. tynnie...i got my licence one yr ago...but i wanna tell u a story... real wan
i first went for my 2b when i was 16yrs old...when i was in sec. sch...same as u...i tot of giving up... and i did gif up... juz bcoz i TOT i could not do it....i felt stupid and my frd who were taking 2b wif me did not gif me much encouragement...and tru enuff...i gave up when i was in prac.4
even when ssdc asked me to renew my booklet....i oso bo chup...its was only after tt it hit me....y did i not complete my lessons??thn i realised...its was my motivation...and my surroundings... they wern't helping at all...and when i wanted to retake my licence i couldn't...coz the age limit raised to 18yrs old... so i waited till my 18th BD...it was a long wait... but i waited lor...i still remember very clearly...on the day of my BD....morning 8am... i wait at the gate to open...and i was the first one to enrol for 2b... the feeling of getting enrol was an achivemant oredi coz... i nvr tot i would step in there again....thn this time... i kept failing my theory test(tt time no money go for prac.first)... and had no visions of passing at tt period oso... thn my frd asked me to go all the way and he said he will b taking his licence too... he encouraged me to go and try...this time...i tried ... almost everyday i went for my revisions...
in the end... the passes i got for my pracs was mostly 100% expt for prac5 i took 4 times...even tt did not discourage me from stopping... i hope tt u will heed my advice...don gif up so easily... coz some day u will regret not getting it... mayb not today or tml... but....someday....

GO GO GO DONT give me up. Eh 1 more thing if so many ppl can pass their 2b y cant u , dat was wat i said to myself after i fail me lesson i felt like giving up but after dat i thought wat de fark so many ppl can pass 2b y cant i , if they can i also can. -
during my 2B, when i was waiting to move off, there was a traffic jam infront of me, because the cars were just returning from their morning pracs and they stopped in the middle of the road blocking passage.
there were a small gap inbetween the gaps, but the ppl taking their TP that day didn't know whether to go through that gap or not, didn't wanna risk failing.
i see the tester keep shouting at them to go, but they still never go, then i see tester shake head and make alot of ticks.
HAHAHAHAHA.
then when i was laughing at them, the tester call me go, but i also never see, luckily the guy beside me woke me from my laughter, if not i maybe oso fail hahaha.
in the end got 10 points
2a got nothing so happening, except almost let 1 guy hai me fail, going up slope he come too near me, i siam to the right to avoid him, in the end right leg down.
lucky tester gimme wobble when stopping only
4 points pass, hahaha KNN if not for that guy would be 2 points liao!!!
