for running in ... best is to keep your speed around 80km/h ...
what i do for my bike last time ...
every 500km change engine oil till 5000km (was using a rough oil not those fully syn oil)
upon reaching 5000km slowly speed up example from 80 to 90 for a few days ... then 90 to 100 for a few days and so on ....
From what i think ... dun one shot try top speed as this will place much stress on the piston and will cause the lifespan of the piston to shorten ...
I use to have a friend who was riding aprilia last time .... his piston jam ... then change piston ... less then 800km try increasing speed .... in the end piston jam again and he landed in hospital ...

I only did mine till 3000km ... and I changed once at 500, once at 1500 ... then 3000 liao ... -
