dented oil tank!

a friend of mine just buang his sp anyone of u here no where or anyshop to repair the dent on his oil tank? he went to leong seng asked they told him bout 100++.... haven include spary...then plus spary bout $400.. is izt worth it? and izt ture that be changing a different paintwork will devalue the bike? y ar? pls give advice...thanks...

got dent in oil tank ah.. big or not the dent?
if small then nvm lah, just leave it. if big ah... then... bo pian loh gotta take go knock.

as for devalue the bike...its bcos experienced riders know seldom got ppl bo tai bo ji go respray unless u buang. so if ppl see respray means most likely buang b4. but den again....for those inexperienced riders to be who just got their license, they care very much abt the looks of the bike so they would still wanna buy it. i fell for that last time....

yeah... general rule of thumb is that if it's resprayed, and it looks like shit, probably buang one. sometimes people want their bike to look nice mar... like there're so many repsol SPs around... must be special what...
