Hello bikers, yah another newbie, so better start with some intro and bkgrd. Was surfing for info about bikes and found this forum, ending up reading fr pg 1 all the way to 11 throughout the night. 2 words, its very interesting & you guys(gals) are definitely damn "cute". And a lot of "INITIAL D" fans too, yeah!!
Its very informative here, especially the first few pages when ya tok abt how to go about getting a bike. Basically i just got my licence (2B ofcoz) < 1 month ago and really kua gianz ppl on the rd. As of most of u here, the big problem is boh $$$. All i can do is surf the net and get even more gianz. Was so happy when i saw this forum, its like FINALLY, ppl with the same frequency (arhh...my gang mostly thak chek kia, stay home & stardy type, no baiks).
Being a "chai niao" in this field, well there r a lot of ???? in the head. To start wif, I have:
1. what is overhaul?
2. (Not to make fun on anyone, but) s2c & noah, how come you get hurt while kick starting? What was the problem? (i really know nuts about riding a bike, pls 4give me if i've offended you, coz i really buey hiao)
3. so does anybody know anything abt RXZ135? (tink of getting one, but all voice down to $$$)
4. ever compared a SP, Ninja II(Kips) wif a RXZ? in details i mean ~ engine, performance, suspension, etc.
5. specially 4 noah, how did you go abt getting ur bike through ur mom? coz sama case here, family oppose....HELP!!
yah, tat's abt all 4 this round. some qns seems like laughing topic, but do help mi if u can coz i really cai tao wan. initially tot of getting a dirtbike, but after reading everyting on the forum, might not be a good idea after all, coz if tp comes, i confirm kana one, he tells me this illegal, i would so "oh izit, sorry, i don't know"; meaning sure die =(
See u guys(gir) hv been hanging out together pretty often, too bad mi not fr north area, i west side one. Well, hope to c ya more often. Take care ppl, especially those still wif injury.

ok if u on buget rite but u wanna upgrade to 2a hor....simple....buy a bike which is dirt cheap...this way u will haf enuff cash to buy 2a bike....
if u don intend to get 2a in a yr....thn i guess u can get a better bike~
rxz is a good low mantainace bike... for low buget riders...it will b a gd choice.
i alot got a rxz myself...but last min my frd don wanna sell....so... ya noe.... if u not getting 2a so soon kipps is a good choice...fn tzm is a better choice among tzm range(using y-1 block which is the best type) fn is 1994.
try not to get safera,skipper and hexagon....waste of money...u can tzr oso...quite low mantainance oso...

Ok, just to share, if you wanna get anything fr penang, cio me, i know penang well coz mi fr penang (not that i know a lot abt bikes, but i know wat shop likes to cham cai tao, wat resonable). Jus came sg to stardy, but feel very "prisonized" without 2 wheels =) coz mi also freelance photographer, damn fedup waiting public transport esp @ nite just to get some photos.
Well, don't think i am going 4 2A so soon, even if i get the L. so its going to be SP or KIPS...(mind struggle), anymore specs that can ease up my choise?
budget wise ~2.2K, that's the best i can fork out (cintan mee 4 the last 1.5 yrs) -
oh yah, besides the big machine, got lobang for other acessories boh? helmet etc, coz the 2.2 is really bao kar liao oredi.

K lah, stop my rubbish liao. so u wanna know abt "Overhaul". Ok, Lets say i have a bike which i rode for 5 years liao. Of coz the bike inside sure wear and tear until jialat jialat. Then u sent ur bike for overhaul, means all those old old internel parts must take out and see which parts need to be replaced with new ones. OVERHAUL simply means opening up ur engine to service. understand? Overhaul can be changing ur clucth plates, piston, block, con rod, bearings, gearings, water pump, etc etc.
U from Penang ha? There famous what bikes ha? Got sport bikes anot? And the ah bengs there ride what bikes ha? hehe Curious. I never been to penang, if u have pics of penang, can mail me at [email protected]? I curious to know how its like down there. hehe -

as for PG, we don't call ahbeng, we called them paikia, coz they really GANG wan. and not really superbike type, mostly CUP KIA (ex5, sport3, kriss but well modified especially the exhaust). biggers ones mostly TZM, TZR, Victor and quite a few Harley... -

ok ok, that's the only kangtao (lobang) i have in sing, but if you don't mind chui hui (no guarantee wan), well a lot in KL, anytime, tell me the model i'll quote u the price.
